The round continued.
With Nosphaleen's victory, the rest of the rankings for the F-tier still needed to be decided, and that had no choice but to start with the bottom 30.
According to Elbrum's original plan, in order to streamline things and make it faster, only one team would be allowed to compete against the higher brackets. So, he planned to continue the randomized one-on-one battles.
It was a good thing that Sylas had been rewarded like he had been. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to repeat the same steps he had. At that point, he might just very well be forced to kill all the F-tier of the 073 Sanctum. However, even that would be unlikely to work.
There were hundreds of thousands of them. Sylas couldn't possibly split his Will in that many directions. He simply wouldn't have enough time to kill them all.
It could even be said that Elbrum's challenge had only helped him. But it also meant that a new seeded chosen had to be selected to continue to the next round.
With the 073 Sanctum being treated like a top 30 Sanctum, they obviously wouldn't be the ones to continue into battle against the 041 to 070 Sanctums. Thus, a new one had to be selected.
Interestingly enough, it was a familiar Sanctum that came out on top after these two rounds were concluded.
The 064 Sanctum.
Those of the 073 Sanctum were all too familiar with this Sanctum. Well, they were at least quite familiar with one Lineage that came from them—the Bat Lineage headed by Byahmad.
The Bat Lineage had long left this Sanctum behind and were then expelled from the 073 Sanctum. But it seemed that their hold on the 064 Sanctum was much stronger than the 073 Sanctum had known.
Not only did they return to the 064 Sanctum, but of the bottom 60 Sanctums, they managed to come out as number one, effectively jumping more than 20 places for the F-tier.
While this raised some eyebrows, not many seemed to react to this as harshly as they should have.
For one, this was still the ranks of the F-tier, and no one cared very much. In addition, the bottom sixties were still considered to be of relatively low rank.
There was a huge gap between every 10 leaps, but even so, by the time you got to the 041 Sanctum, the F-tiers still didn't have six-figure stats. In the eyes of the larger Sanctums, they were still pitifully weak and not worth much of an extra look.
The fact the 064 Sanctum had shown real struggle to get to this point only made others care even less for their achievements.
Because Elbrum had chosen such a lazy path, they had cut down the time needed significantly, not even taking three hours to settle on the bottom 60 ranks. But it was also because of that the odds of a much weaker Sanctum graduating to a higher level were more possible.
Had Sylas been awake, he would have certainly taken note of this matter. But he was still in a deep sleep and showed no signs of waking up.
Nosphaleen couldn't help but frown seeing the way things were going. Three hours should have been enough for Sylas to wake up given his stats and his recovery abilities.
If Sylas had been in a state of high stress leading up to this moment, Nosphaleen could understand it, but he hadn't been. He had been relaxing on Earth all this time. Except for... Nosphaleen's pupils constricted.
