Chapter 1293: 501

Five hundred and one F-tiers.

It was a shocking number, the sort of army that most on the tier of F would find themselves running in the opposite direction of.

These weren’t normal F-tiers. They were the geniuses of the Sanctum, young, budding experts that would one day become the pillars of the Sanctum, helping to raise up the next of them.

Any one of these F-tiers could have ruled Earth if they had been plopped down there. And yet, they were now all gone in a matter of moments.

Gralith was still sitting in his chair, his eyes still closed. What scene was playing out was clear enough to him, though. He knew what kind of character Sylas had, that was why he was surprised he had appeared so early.

But after guessing that Sylas had likely become the new Dominus Paragon, he felt that it made more sense.

Sylas wouldn’t easily put his life in the hands of others if he could help it. But he also knew that growing entirely alone was impossible as well. He would definitely come here as a result, but he wouldn’t do so if he would be the bottom of the barrel.

If he appeared in the Sanctum, it meant that he ahd already grown tot he point he felt that he could hold his own against those of his own tier, and in all likelihood even against those a tier higher.

When Sylas chose to take such an aggressive stance, Gralith knew that this undersatnding was correct. He wasn’t going to leave his acceptance ceremony to luck. He would force a Disputed Rite that would leave no doubt at all.

Sylas had always been sharp. That day Gralith snapped at him for a simple deduction had told Sylas all he needed to know about the situation in the Sanctum though he had yet to step a single foot into it.

They were definitely hiding secrets he didn’t understand, and these secrets had seemingly also become enough of a cancer taht even an entire Lineage was suffering for it.

Why would the Scorpion Lineage’s key skill, [Earth Escape], be so antithetical to the core of what it meant to be a scorpion?

Sylas didn’t know the answer to that question, but he also didn’t expect to wait around for others to tell him either.

Not far from Gralith, the 713th Rhino Warlord frowned.

"How long have you been training him, Gralith?"

Gralith didn’t respond, eliciting a snort from the 713th Rhino Warlord.

"If I find out that this is in violation of the rules, I won’t let it go."

Gralith still didn’t respond, while the other Warlords were still watching in silence, their demeanors still quite calm. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

This was well within the abilities of the best True Disciples. But... the problem was that Sylas wasn’t yet a True Disciple. It was very rare for someone who had yet to join to have these sort of capabilities, especially since Sylas didn’t even use his Scorpion Warlord Armor.

What intrigued him the most was the ability he used to forcefully cancel Udone’s summon. Was that the real reason Gralith had taken him as a disciple? Was that a Unique Gene? A racial trait, maybe? A Will Ability?

Will Ability seemed like the most likely answer... and a rare one at that.

It seemed that this might become mroe interesting than they thought it would.

But if this was the extent of Sylas’ abilities, even defeating Casteel would be impossible, let alone Scarval...
