Forced Marriage To The Secret Billionaire novel Chapter 33

AUTHOR'S POV

Silas didn't say anything after listening to her. He kept his mouth shut. Any word uttered to console her would mean, he was pitying her...Atleast, that's what Sara would think.

So, he kept his silence.

She asked him to eat and he did. She gave him the medicines and he took them silently.

Sara's soul had began rotting due to the hatred, vengeance and anger she kept hidden behind this Cold woman facade.

The whole day passed and eventually, she disappeared again. That's her way to deal with things. She keeps running away from feelings and reality. The moment she got to know he was feeling better now, she picked up her bag and walked away.

Silas stepped out on the ramp and stared at the sea for a while wondering what he should do.

It was him who hurt her. He didn't mean to do it but he couldn't help letting all his frustration out on her.

Sighing, he pushed his hair back and closed his eyes to feel the cold salty breeze stinging his skin.

' I will destroy it. '

So that's why she was hellbound on inheriting Lexington Group of Companies.

She wanted to inherit it and then she wanted them all to see their world crumbling down in front of their eyes.

It was cruel...What she wanted to do to her family was cruel.

But what happened to her was cruel too.

He opened his eyes and went inside the room.

He must find her. He had to make sure she was alright. He couldn't just leave her alone when he had hurt her.

Making up his mind, he called his secretary again to get her phone number traced. Thank God, she was carrying her phone with her.

It was easy to find her. He should have done it already.

Following the directions, he ended up in the secular part of the beach and there she was...Sitting with her back facing him.

She was not crying. She was just staring at the water.

She was not strong. She had just gotten used to all those emotions.

It was even more cruel.

Silas stared at Sara for the longest time not finding it in himself to go to her and start a conversation.

At last, he gave up this fight with himself and marched toward her before slumping down beside her.

Sara whipped her head around and hummed seeing him beside her.

How did he find her? She wondered. She had made sure she was lost herself so he didn't find her.

He was quite persistent. Her bottom lip puckered out and she turned her head back to stare at the sea.

It was calm and raging at the same time. There was a depth to the sea. It might look raging from upfront but inside...Everything was calm.

“ How did you find me? ” She whispered to him and Silas turned to look at her side profile.

The moonlight was making her face look like it was glowing or perhaps, she was always shining in Silas's eyes.

“ I am sorry. ” He blurted out, keeping his eyes fixed at her face feeling unable to look away.

“ I don't hate her for making that choice. I hate her for leaving me behind. I would have preffered it if she had loved her ten years old daughter too. ” Sara retorted and laid down on the soft sand.

Silas followed suite and laid down beside her. A smile slowly curled up his lips and he turned on his side to stare at Sara, who was now pouting.

She was quite weird. In all situations, she acted weird.

“ You are just angry because you loved her. ” He declared and Sara whipped her head around to glare at him.

“ How do you know? ” She narrowed down her eyes as she too turned on her side.

“ I just know. ” He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.

“ You know I wanted to say Thanks. ” He changed the topic and the frown on Sara's forehead deepened.

“ For what? ” Sara pouted, her mind completely forgetting the previous topic for a moment.

“ For taking care of me when I was sick. ” Silas revealed and placed his hand under his head.

“ I would do the same for everyone. ” Sara lied through her teeth and tried hard not to look away from his intense eyes.

“ But I didn't want everyone to look after me. ” Silas whispered and pushed his other hand forward to brush her bangs off her forehead lightly.

Sara gulped at the touch. The same night flashed before her eyes and she felt like sneaking away from him before she was tempted to kiss him again.

He was dangerous. He was more dangerous than her worst enemies. He had some sort of control over her heart and it scared her.

“ Why? ” Sara voiced out and grabbed his hand which was brushing her hair, before pulling it down.

“ Because I love you. ”
