Five Years Wasted Now They Beg Her Back novel Chapter 353

The day Lucian's sentence was handed down was rainy and gloomy.

Fifteen years in prison.

In the courtroom, Lucian was a sobbing, blubbering mess, screaming, "Amelia, I hope you rot in hell!"

But his fate was sealed.

A week later, in the prison visitation room.

Dorian, the third Hart son, had returned from abroad.

He was a highly educated intellectual and the only one in the Hart family who seemed remotely 'normal.'

Through the thick glass, Dorian looked at Lucian, his head now shaved, his eyes vacant.

"Lucian, try to reform yourself in there."

Dorian sighed and advised, "The family house was seized by the court, and Dad has disappeared. Our older brother... is having a mental breakdown. I'm planning to immigrate another country and I'm not coming back."

"What did you say?!"

Lucian slammed himself against the glass, veins bulging on his neck. "You're running away? Who do you think I did all this for? Huh? Dorian, you coward! You just came to laugh at me, didn't you? Get out! All of you, get out!"

He roared, standing up and frantically pounding on the glass.

Guards rushed in, pinned him down, and dragged him away.

Dorian watched Lucian being dragged off, his expression unreadable.

By the time he walked out of the prison gates, the rain had stopped.

He took out his phone and, after a long hesitation, sent a text to Grace.

Just two words.

[I'm sorry.]

Sent.

Then, the red exclamation mark lit up.

[Message sent, but rejected by the recipient.]

Dorian looked at the red exclamation mark and gave a self-deprecating laugh.

He was right.
