Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3140

Back at the office, Gonzalez and Trevor finished their lunch and rode the private executive elevator upstairs.

"I was told we have a corporate gym on site," Gonzalez remarked casually.

"We do. 30th floor, Tower B," Trevor replied.

Gonzalez nodded. "I haven't seen it yet. Give me the tour."

"Sure thing," Trevor agreed without a second thought.

They made their way over to Tower B. The entire 30th floor was dedicated to employee fitness and recreation. Since it was the middle of the lunch rush, the sprawling facility was nearly empty, save for a handful of people jogging on the treadmills and chatting.

Gonzalez strolled through the state-of-the-art facility until he spotted a full-sized MMA sparring ring. He turned to Trevor. "Do you work out often, Trevor?"

Trevor puffed his chest out slightly. "Of course. Work is stressful, but a man has to keep himself in peak condition."

"Good to hear," Gonzalez said, grabbing a pair of sparring pads and casually slipping them onto his forearms. "Let's go a few rounds."

Trevor paused, quickly waving him off. "Oh, no, I don't really do the fighting stuff. I just stick to the treadmill and hit the weights."

"It's fine. We'll take it easy. No strict rules. You can use your fists or your feet, whatever works for you." Without waiting for a response, Gonzalez hoisted himself effortlessly into the ring.

Not wanting to look weak, Trevor reluctantly took off his suit jacket, strapped on the protective gear, and climbed through the ropes.

A moment later, the two men faced off. Trevor had actually taken boxing classes in his twenties, and he fell into a surprisingly professional defensive stance. Seeing an opening, he launched a vicious, full-force right hook straight at Gonzalez's head, showing absolutely no mercy.

To his utter shock, Gonzalez lazily tilted his head, dodging the brutal strike by a fraction of an inch. A predatory smirk curled on Gonzalez's lips.

That cold, terrifying smirk instantly triggered Trevor's fight-or-flight response. But before his brain could even process the danger, a massive fist blurred in his vision.

The sheer speed and devastating power of the blow paralyzed Trevor. He couldn't react. He didn't even have time to blink.

Crack! The impact sent the entire room spinning. A sickening ringing exploded in Trevor's ears as he stumbled backward, barely managing to keep his footing.

Gonzalez hadn't even used thirty percent of his strength. He stepped forward with lethal precision, throwing punch after punch. Each blow was heavier, harder, and more devastating than the last.
