Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 562

Magdalen chuckled, "Your boyfriend is the owner here!"

Estelle took a moment to process the information. "Here?"

Magdalen raised an eyebrow, her eyes brightening. "Yes, this is part of the Lamont Group's properties."

She laughed, teasing, "No wonder so many people want to be the wife of the CEO of the Lamont Group. Everywhere you go, there are surprises!"

Estelle merely raised an eyebrow, not commenting.

As evening fell, the sun set, and the last traces of sunlight began to fade into darkness.

The hotel lights came on, illuminating the surrounding trees and lakes with a kaleidoscope of colors that extended the beauty of the autumn sun.

Magdalen received a call from Morrison, asking where she was.

Seeing Inman get out of the car, Estelle turned to Magdalen. "You go find Morrison. I'll go up by myself!"

"No way, he's not as important as you!" Magdalen smirked.

"But you're his date tonight and my boss is here," Estelle pointed at Inman. "I'll go with her."

"Fine!" Magdalen hugged Estelle, "See you later, babe!"

"Mhm!" Estelle patted her shoulder, got off the golf cart, and walked leisurely towards the hotel entrance.

As the two took the elevator to the banquet hall, they bumped into Alice and Carmella right as they entered. Both girls were all dolled up - Alice wearing a silver-gray sequined short dress that made her look even more trendy and youthful, while Carmella stood beside her in a light pink off-shoulder long gown, looking pure, elegant, and gorgeous.

Alice greeted Inman and then glanced at Estelle with a teasing smile, "Come on, we're fashion designers, and this is quite an occasion. Don't you think Estelle's outfit is a bit too plain? Inman, why didn't you help her dress up a little?"

Inman chuckled and said, "Well, Estelle is naturally beautiful. Look at that pretty face, I can only be jealous!"

Alice just laughed without comment.

As they walked further into the banquet hall, Carmella trailed behind and gave Estelle a sidelong glance, whispering, "If you didn't have a dress for this event, you could've told me, you know. Showing up in such a plain outfit for such an important party may leave people doubting our studio's capabilities and fashion sense!"

She then added with a smile, "My mom knew I was coming to the company's party tonight and made a whole trip to GK Jewelry Studio and Chic Boutique to get me a bunch of evening dresses. I couldn't possibly wear them all!"
