Estelle placed a few slices of tomato she had cut into a bowl.

Jonathan looked over, "What are you doing?"

"Eat it, it's delicious!" Estelle laughed.

Jonathan frowned, "The tomato is raw."

Estelle scooped up a spoonful and brought it to Jonathan's mouth. "Try it!"

Jonathan looked at her suspiciously but opened his mouth and ate the tomato.

"Is it good?" Estelle's eyes sparkled as she looked at him.

Jonathan said, "Give me another bite!"

Estelle couldn't help but laugh. In no time, they had finished half a bowl of tomatoes.

Estelle broke the broccoli into small pieces and sliced the carrots. Jonathan noticed that she was cutting very slowly and was amused when he saw the evenly sized carrot slices, but he didn't say anything.

Jonathan fried some pork chops.

In the end, the only dish that Estelle made was salad, and it was only at Estelle's insistence that Jonathan let her make it.
