Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 164

Estelle didn't open her eyes until after Jonathan woke up. She turned her head to look at the bright sunshine outside the window, squinted, and stretched lazily.

She stretched a bit in the bed before getting up, her legs still feeling weak, and she almost lost her balance.

When she looked up, she saw Jonathan leaning against the bathroom door, grinning at her. He was only wearing a towel around his waist and had a mocking smile on his face.

Estelle's face turned red, and she grabbed a pillow from the bed and threw it at him, frowning and scolding, "Stop laughing!"

Like an angry little leopard.

Jonathan caught the pillow and walked over, holding her up and carrying her into the bathroom, "I'm not mocking, I'm proud!"

Estelle was speechless.

Millard had already sent clothes and breakfast, which were placed downstairs.

During breakfast, Jonathan asked, "When is your friend leaving?"

Estelle took a bite of her sandwich, shaking her head, "I don't know."

Jonathan thought for a moment, "Charlie's house is downstairs, let your friend live there."

Estelle asked, "Is it okay?"

Jonathan said leisurely, "Charlie's house is empty, no one is living there, she can live there as long as she wants, and she doesn't have to pay rent or any other fees, isn't that more convenient?"

Estelle had heard from Emily before that her brother's girlfriend didn't intend to look for a new house, and she seemed to want to stay at Emily's place for long term. So, Emily didn't plan to go home for now and thought about sharing a new place with Estelle in the future.

Estelle asked, "What about Mr. James?"

"You don't need to worry about him. The Royal Mansion was developed by the Lamont Group. I reserved a penthouse as a temporary resting place for myself. Mr. James insisted on joining in the fun, and his house was actually given to him by me as a gift. He rarely comes over."

Estelle nodded, "Okay, I'll tell Emily when I get back."

She liked staying at the Royal Mansion because it's close to the dessert shop and she didn't have to pay rent, which was indeed a good deal.

Emily smiled, "When he wants to move back here, I'll move out right away, without any delay."

"Alright!"

Since it was settled and Emily was off that day, she packed up her stuff and moved downstairs.

When they got back in the morning, Jonathan had already given Estelle the passcode for the downstairs door.

The downstairs layout was the same as the upstairs, just with a slight difference in decorations. Charlie liked high-tech stuff, so the house was full of them, like robots that could serve the owner, ceilings that could change colors and scenes, and sunroofs on the balcony that could automatically sense and open like sports cars...

Emily also liked these things and was excited for quite a while after entering. However, she didn't dare to touch anything and just admired them.

She and Estelle both lived in the second bedroom, and they could chat with each other from their balconies.

When Jonathan arrived at the company, he called Charlie. As soon as the call connected, Charlie laughed on the other end, "You're not calling me just to thank me, are you?"

Jonathan chuckled, "of course not!"
