Sebastian bristled at the thought of Lillian spending time with their son. In his eyes, her prison record was a stain that might bleed onto the boy, a stigma Noah would be forced to carry forever. If she spent too much time with their son, he worried the boy would forever carry the stigma of having a mother who had been in prison.
They were already divorced, and he wasn't asking her for a dime of child support. It was best to just cut ties completely.
Afraid that Lillian might agree, Sebastian cut in directly.
"Since everyone is here, let's just get this over with.
"The contents of the safe… you're the only one who knows the password, so you can go get them yourself.
"As for everything else that was out, including your clothes, bags, shoes, and so on, I've already had the staff clean and pack them up."
With that, Sebastian looked toward the staff and ordered, "Bring out the things that have been packed."
A maid acknowledged the order, and a moment later, a procession of more than a dozen rolling clothing racks appeared, all laden with designer clothes.
These were all things Lillian used to wear, including some new items she hadn't even had the chance to wear yet.
Seeing the sheer volume, Bella stood up, unable to remain calm.
"Why is there so much? There wasn't this much in the closet before, was there?"
The maid explained, "Miss Ward, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom isn't big enough to hold everything.
"So, only the seasonal clothes were kept in there…
"Besides, before you moved into the villa, all of these items were already packed up and moved to another dedicated dressing room.
"When you asked us to clear everything out, the master also instructed us to gather it all in one place.
"For the past few years, all of this has been locked away in the large walk-in closet. No one has touched it."
