Staring at the moved photo frame and his now "soiled" bedsheets.
Shanley's fury ignited.
He didn't approach the bed. Instead, he spun around, stormed out to the doorway, and shouted toward the assistants' office, "Felton! Flint!"
"Boss!"
Felton and Flint were startled out of their wits, practically stumbling out of their office. "What happened?"
"Where did the stray woman in my room come from?"
Shanley tugged at his tie in frustration, feeling as if the air in the room had been contaminated, making it hard to breathe. "Throw her and everything she touched out of the building."
Stray woman?
Security on the top floor was always airtight. How could a stray woman sneak in?
Unless... she climbed up the window?
But then again.
This building was dozens of stories high. Unless she was Spider-Man.
Curious, the two men tiptoed and peeked inside. Sure enough, there was a visible lump under the blanket.
Damn!
There really was a stray woman!
"Boss, I'll take care of it right now." Flint snapped back to reality, marching aggressively into the suite.
What the hell?
Did she not know their boss was taken?
And she still dared to throw herself at him?
What a death wish!
He wanted to see exactly who had such guts.
Felton scratched his head, stepping back to the doorway to call building maintenance.
To come haul the furniture out.
"Stomp, stomp, stomp—"
Flint marched furiously inside, his heavy footsteps echoing across the floorboards.
"Bang—"
