“Is he related to Yolanda from the broadcasting department next door? He seems to go out of his way for her.”
“His military posture is garbage, even worse than our star, Juniper. A guy like that is an instructor? I suggest the school administration investigate this thoroughly!”
“I’m curious, though. Juniper’s posture is so perfect. I wonder if she’s had training before?”
Finally, someone hit on the main point, and the other students chimed in with surprise.
Juniper, with her delicate skin and slender limbs, looked like a breeze could blow her over. But her military stance was truly impeccable.

Juniper logged on to see hundreds of messages in the class group chat, with many people tagging her. Towel-drying her hair, she picked up her phone and typed a reply: [I learned it from being punished as a kid.]
Punished? The group chat erupted in laughter. They had imagined all sorts of possibilities, but never that.
It was true, though. When she was little at the monastery, her master would teach her combat skills every morning. She found it too tiring and would always try to slack off, so her master would punish her by making her hold a military stance.
“Juniper, you’re hilarious,” Hattie said, scrolling through the chat history with her two other roommates, all of them roaring with laughter. “Farrell’s face must be twisted with rage.”
“I know, right?” Cynthia said, but her laughter soon turned to worry. “You’ve crossed him twice now, and there are still fourteen days left. He’s definitely going to make things hard for you.”
“Fourteen days?” Juniper tossed the towel onto a chair, a cool smile playing on her lips, her aura confident. “Let’s see if he even lasts that long.”
The three of them stared at her, completely baffled. What did she mean by that?
Could it be... Farrell was going to be kicked out?
