Chapter 50 A Blabbermouth
Chapter 50 A Blabbermouth
After a moment of contemplation, Trent replied, “That works. I’ll do just that.”
After all, he really couldn’t bring himself to swallow his pride and borrow money from others.
After they had finished their meal, Trent accompanied Sidonie to the flight duty room.
That day, Sidonie was slated to work in the duty room.
As the two of them reached the hallway, they saw Quinn stepping out of the aviation company’s executive’s office.
The three of them locked eyes with each other.
With a nonchalant expression, Quinn planned to sidestep the two and leave, but Sidonie swiftly blocked her path and said, “Quinn, what brings you here?”
“It has nothing to do with you,” Quinn responded coldly.
“Don’t lie. You came here to tattle on me to my leader, right?” Sidonie stated confidently, “I never thought you’d be so petty. Your marriage with Trent has come to an end, yet instead of reflecting on your own issues, you’re shifting the blame onto others.”
Upon hearing that, Trent frowned, his gaze fixed on Quinn. “Did you really come here to file a complaint? If Sidonie faces unjust treatment at Nimbus Air because of your actions, I won’t let you off the hook!”
Quinn looked at the two of them, her voice cold and detached. “Who would bother complaining about someone they don’t even care about? Trent, you don’t hold that kind of weight in my heart.”
Suddenly, Trent’s face flushed a deep red, a mix of annoyance and frustration washing over him.
After that, Quinn said to Sidonie, “I’m divorcing Trent, and he’s the one at fault. If he truly valued our marriage and respected me, he wouldn’t have repeatedly abandoned me to seek you out. Even if it wasn’t you, it could have been someone else. So, I don’t want such a worthless man. You’re welcome to have him!”
Sidonie studied Quinn, seemingly trying to detect any signs of suppressed pain etched on her face.
However, there wasn’t a single sign.
Quinn simply said those words in a casual tone.
“Cut the act!” Sidonie was dissatisfied. “You’re divorcing Trent, so how can you possibly not resent me? Otherwise, why would you come out of the executive office?”
“Do you think you must be the reason I’ve come to Nimbus Air?” Quinn was amused.
She went to Nimbus Air simply because she needed to transport her parents‘ ashes back to Yarburn. She also went there to explain the situation and make a record.
hometown,
Upon learning that the ashes she intended to bring back were those of fallen heroes, the senior executives of Nimbus Air made a speciál effort to meet with her.

However, she didn’t feel the need to explain any of that to Sidonic.
“If you despise me, I’d rather you say it to my face than resort to underhanded tactics behind my back Sidonic said, lifting her chin with an air of arrogance. She then swept a disdainful gaze over Quinn!
“Sidonic, I don’t hate you,” Quinn stated nonchalantly.
Sidonie was taken aback, and even Trent looked at Quinn with a hint of surprise. Does she really not harbor any resentment?
“Anyway, I’m on the verge of divorcing Trent. You two can be together however you like. You guys don’t need to use friendship as a pretense anymore,” said Quinn.
“Shouldn’t I be happy Quinnie is leaving that sc*mbag?” Harlan said.
