Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 638

"You sure are good at this," Ayla said in a cold voice. "When it comes to hurting people, you always know exactly where the wound is."

Troy couldn't stand the cold look she kept giving him. "So I'm the only one who hurts people?" he shot back. "What about you? Aren't you hurting me right now? You know exactly where my weak spots are. The things you say cut just as deep."

Ayla stared at him in disbelief. Once again, he was twisting everything around. "Listen to yourself," she said. "Have you forgotten what you did to me? If my words sting, that's on you."

Troy ground his teeth. "Haha, why are you even arguing with me? I just want you to make your choice. Do you still want to be with Draven?" His expression turned dark and sinister. "I'm warning you. If you choose Draven, you'll never see the kids again. And if you think you can live without them... " He gave a low, bitter laugh. "I'll find a way to make sure you can't."

His tone grew sharp. "Ayla, choose now."

Ayla looked at him. Troy had clearly lost control. His eyes were wild, his emotions completely unstable. Right now, he looked almost like a madman. There was no point in reasoning with someone in this state. None of what he was saying made sense.

What bothered her even more was the way he spoke, as if he had the right to order her around.

Strangely, after hearing all his threats, Ayla felt herself grow calmer instead. "Troy," she said slowly, "we've only been co-parenting for a month, and you already threatened to take the kids away from me? That's honestly disappointing."

She let out a short, cold laugh. Her expression turned even colder. "With your current state of mind, you're not fit to raise kids. If you want to fight me for custody, you probably can't win." She paused before continuing calmly. "Your father and grandfather both remember what you and Draven were like growing up. They don't want that to happen again. Do you really think having children means you can control me? Half the nannies and household staff work for Martin. Do you really think they'll let you do whatever you want?"

She looked straight into his eyes. "The only relationship between us now is that we're raising the kids together. That's it. Who I choose to be with is my business. It has nothing to do with you. You're the one who can't control your emotions. If seeing me kiss Draven bothers you, then deal with it yourself. Don't try to control me."

She folded her arms. "You can't handle your feelings, so you drag me into it. And now you're demanding that I choose? Choose what?" She gave a short, mocking laugh. "Who do you think you are? A king? Why would I listen to you?"

After saying that, Ayla suddenly felt the whole situation was almost laughable. Jealousy was one thing, but Troy had gone far beyond that. At the very least, he should understand his place.

Troy was acting like a madman; he still believed she belonged to him.

Ayla pointed at Troy. Her face was tight with anger. "You're getting more and more unreasonable. Don't push me too far."

Calm down.
