Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 412

Chapter 412 A Day Worth Remembering

After saying that, Draven lifted his head.

Ayla’s face was already burning red.

Draven smiled and kissed her cheek.

Just as he was about to leave, Ayla suddenly grabbed his large hand.

Draven looked at her, confused.

Ayla stared straight into his eyes. “I’m really happy.”

Draven froze for a moment. He already knew they were together now. They’d hugged.

They’d kissed. He’d slipped smoothly into the role of boyfriend. But he hadn’t expected these simple words to hit him so hard, without any warning.

His heart started pounding violently. It had race like this when she confessed too.

Draven paused for two seconds, then replied with quiet seriousness, “Me too, Ayla.”

After the bathroom door closed, Draven took several steps forward, his stride uneven.

So he really wasn’t as calm as he thought.

He’d just hidden it while Ayla was there.

This was the first time Draven had ever gotten what he wanted. He didn’t know what expression he was supposed to wear. Excitement Joy? Laughter? He had no experience. His life had never worked out that way.

He glanced around the room.

The presidential suite was tastefully decorated. He was long used to environments like this. It never felt new or worth a second look.

But now, everything before his eyes felt pleasing

Draven slowly savored the joy of being with Ayla like the lingering sweetness after a sip of tea.

There had to be a pause before emotions fully caught up.

That was why his heart was racing so hard now, thumping so violently it made his lent arm tingle slightly. Draven had to press a hand to his chest to steady himself.

Maybe being struck by happiness left him at a loss.

No one knew what it felt like to be so excited you trembled. No one could truly share how happy he was at this moment. Draven didn’t need anyone to understand.

He would savor it alone.
