Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 11

The man's swagger vanished; his gaze dropped and his voice died in his throat.

In the pit, dirt had already swallowed him halfway. He thrashed and pleaded, panic turning every breath into a rasp.

Andres unhurriedly wiped his hands with a handkerchief, like the very air had offended him. He glanced down with open contempt. "You want to talk?"

The driver nodded so hard his neck looked like it might snap.

Andres stepped to the edge and looked down at him. "I want the clean answer. One word of nonsense and you die."

The driver nodded again.

Murray lifted his boot and kicked the man square in the jaw.

With a sickening jolt, the dislocation popped back into place.

The driver gasped, then words spilled out in a panic. He thrust a shaking finger toward the crowd. "It was Liam. He told me to tamper with the car."

The accusation landed on Andres's fifth brother, Liam White—who clearly hadn't expected the ground to shift beneath him like this.

"You're lying!" Liam shouted. "How could I kill my own father?"

He whirled to Andres, frantic. "Andres, don't listen to this. He's trying to drag me down with him!"

The driver screamed back, "I have a recording. It's in my email!"

To keep himself from being buried alive, he rattled off the account and password without taking a breath.

Hans logged in at once, found the file, and hit play on speaker.

Liam's voice filled the cemetery—cold, explicit—ordering the driver to make sure Caden and Mrs. White died.

With the recording blaring, there was nowhere left to hide. No spin. No denial.

Liam turned to run.

A few fast-moving guards took him down in seconds, driving him face-first into the ground until he couldn't even struggle.

He twisted his head toward Andres, desperate. "Andres, listen, this is fake. The recording is fabricated. None of this is real!"

Andres lifted a hand, cutting him off.

Then Andres said to the men beside him, "He killed our father. Make him pay, then hand him over to the cops with everything we've got."

He didn't spare Liam another glance.
