Sharp teeth sunk into soft skin, and blood immediately trickled out.

Everyone around went as white as a sheet.

"Sir!"

"Everyone get out!"

Ian's voice was icy cold, his arms tightly wrapped around Maja's waist.

No one dared to say a word and quickly left.

Maja had driven her car here, crashing into pretty much everything in her path. Just that large iron gate alone was worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, not to mention the countless precious plants she had crushed.

Everyone assumed Ian would be furious, given Maja's actions were a clear sign of disrespect towards him.

But as someone sneaked a glance at him on their way out, they caught him laughing?

Maja wasn't satisfied with just one bite and moved on to another spot.

Deep bite marks appeared on Ian's shoulder and collarbone.

He was wearing a silk nightgown, making it all too convenient for Maja to bite him.

After about ten minutes of biting, she heard him ask, "Cooled off yet?"

Maja stiffened and looked up at him.

He was also looking down at her. "Can you tell me why you felt the need to trash my house now?"

Realizing she was still in his arms, Maja started to struggle, but Ian held onto her tightly.

"Ian, let go of me!"

Maja was fuming, her eyes turning red.

As soon as Ian let go of her, she slapped him hard across the cheek.

He touched his face, taking a few minutes to gather his bearings.

"Maja, don't push it."

Her slap had been so powerful that her palm was aching.

"Who's the one pushing it? Ian, I swear I could kill you right now!"

Ian licked the blood off the corner of his mouth. Remembering that she had said her first love was better than him, he started to get a little angry too.

"Is that why you came here today?"

Maja was the type to act out when she was angry.

Now that she had calmed down, she took a deep breath.

She had to kill him, and she just had to find the opportunity.

But the thought of not being able to take on the Sanders family, let alone Ian, always held her back.

Maja was so mad, she was babbling. She wasn't one to swear, so she attacked him with her words instead.

Ian put Maja down on the couch inside the house. Hearing her call him a heartbreaker, he lost his cool.

"Are you talking about me?"

Maja's face was flushed with anger, her chest heaving. As soon as he put her down, she scooted away, occupying the far end of the couch.

Ian stood there, his gaze turning cold.

"The day I returned, you got me drunk and took me to bed. You took my first kiss, my first time, and now you're calling me a heartbreaker?"

As he spoke, Ian's thoughts turned to Darlene.

He used to be able to say with confidence that he'd only ever been with Maja. But now there was another, and it made him feel irritable and guilty.

"Maja." He reached out, but Maja moved back.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Tyler had arrived with Darlene.

But Tyler hadn't expected Maja to be there, so he called out from outside.

"Holy cow! What happened to Greenfield Gardens? Was it robbed?"

He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The iron gate was down, and car tire tracks were everywhere. This level of destruction was unthinkable. It hurt him just to look at it.
