Elvis looked rather excited, his eyes full of admiration. He chuckled and quickly got out of the car.

"Mr. Pennyfeather, I'll talk to the actress who was originally supposed to play the supporting female role. I'll convince her to cooperate with us."

Maja nodded.

After returning to the company, a call came in from Rosewood Manor.

This was something she agreed to a long time ago, promising to maintain a superficial harmony with Ian even after their divorce.

Not wanting to turn him down, Maja simply replied, "Alright."

"I'll have Ian pick you up."

"I'll drive myself over."

"He's coming from there anyway, and he can just swing by and pick you up."

Maja was at a loss for words. After all, with Selena’s recent incident, no one knew how the older man was doing.

She worked until six in the evening, dealing with a bunch of paperwork. Just as she was about to call Elvis to ask about the actress, her office door swung open, and Ian walked in.

She had thought he would wait for her downstairs.

Ian quickly walked over, trying to help her with her bag, but she avoided him.

"I did, it's fine. But there's a bit of trouble with the actress. She agreed to cooperate with us right before I left her place. However, she just called me a minute ago, saying she won't be signing up with Star Movie Group anymore. Someone probably bought her out."

After all, she was just losing a role. She would definitely agree if someone else offered better resources to buy her out.

Maja lowered her head. It looked like she needed to investigate Wilma's past fights first.

Once in the car, she checked the trending topics on Twitter and found over ten thousand new comments on her account, all demanding that the Star Movie group fire Wilma.

Wilma had previously announced on Twitter that she signed with Star Movie group. Now that this issue arose, everyone turned to Maja.
