Her mind was a mess; she had no idea how to react.

Everyone present was speechless, watching the two men who'd just been fighting over a girl, now protectively shielding her together.

This was beyond belief.

Holden was starting to get restless, his curiosity piqued.

"Get moving, you guys!"

The four men didn't hesitate anymore, some pulling at Beck, some at Ian.

Amid the struggle, Maja regained her composure and realized what was happening.

She lifted her head from Ian's chest, attempting to turn around slowly.

But Ian held onto her waist tightly, "Showing your face now would cause a world of trouble."

His grandpa wouldn't let her off the hook.

The four men halted at once, for her voice was calm, like a breath of fresh air in the chaotic atmosphere.

Maja looked up at Ian, thought momentarily, then said, "I'm sorry."

Ian was puzzled, wanting to keep hiding her.

But she removed the suit jacket from her head, then turned around and gave Beck, who was shielding her, a pat.

Beck didn't say much and stepped aside.

Holden was initially seated, holding a cup of coffee. When he saw Maja, he almost thought he was seeing things.

Maja knew that today's incident had blown up big time, so she knelt without hesitation.

"Grandpa Holden, I'm sorry."

Holden's mouth gaped open, his eyes filled with shock. The cup in his hand dropped to the floor, making a loud noise.

His chest heaved heavily, lost for words.

Apart from Maja, his grandpa had never used the name "Maja" for any other woman. He'd heard this name countless times but never thought Penny was Maja.

He was desperate for an answer.
