As soon as Maja walked in, she heard the barking of a dog. From a distance, she saw a snowy white dog running towards her, excitedly circling around her.

Maja bent down to give it a pat on the head.

"Coco, have you been good while I was away?"

Maria came out of the house, wearing an apron and looking about fifty, very kind.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, he's been a handful when you're not around. He even went fishing in the pond yesterday, and caught all the fish. I had to help him to remove the tiny bones and cook the fish for him to eat."

Maja found it amusing and gave Coco's head a good rub, "Why you are such a foodie."

Coco is a German shepherd, now about six years old, always sticking with Maja.

Maja's apartment couldn’t keep dogs, and Holden just gave her this villa. She rarely came over, so she had Maria look after Coco.

After playing for a while, Maja dragged her suitcase into the house.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, have you finally decided to move in?"

"My apartment got robbed, so I'm staying here for a few days."

If she couldn't handle even this small matter, then there was no need for The Raymond corporation's to continue assisting the Pennyfeathers with their second round of financing.
