She was once again showing Luis around the exhibits, and he seemed to be increasingly satisfied with her explanation.

Inviting Maja over today also had the intention of introducing her to some connections.

"Do you know Daniel from EliteEdge Consortium? His son is also into design and pretty well-known, about your age. I could introduce you guys, you'll be in the same circle after all and have common topics. What do you think?"

Maja was about to refuse, but then she heard Luis add, "Speaking of which, Samuel, are you also here to see the exhibition today?"

Maja followed his gaze, and indeed, there was Samuel not far away.

His face was back to normal, and he came over with a smile, "If you told me earlier that you were coming, I would've definitely been your guide."

Samuel looked at the Maja beside him, his eyes sparkling.

"The designer Luis found, is it Penny?"

"Yep, that's her."

Samuel walked up to Maja. "Including Ian's time, you've poached two of my projects, seems like we're really destined."

Maja frowned slightly, then heard Luis say, "You young people have more common topics when you chat. I've already seen all the paintings I wanted to see today. Samuel, take good care of Ms. Penny for me, remember to be considerate."

Samuel chuckled. After Luis left, he put away his smile.

"Wanna grab something to eat later?"

Maja thought he was really thick-faced, not mentioning what just happened earlier, clearly wanting to forget about it.

Her gaze fell somewhere on him, her eyes scornful.

"You're okay now? That was fast."

These words had no other meaning, but saying them out loud could easily cause misunderstanding.

Samuel leaned in closer and said flirtatiously.

"Whether I'm okay or not, why don't you see for yourself?"

Before Maja could speak, a young woman's voice came from the side.

"Hey, it is you!"

The voice was impatient, the girl crossed her arms, looking at Maja's simple clothes.

Samuel stood by, watching Maja being bullied, but didn't immediately step in to help. He planned to be her hero when she felt the most helpless, and thus win her favor more effectively.

He smirked, deciding to watch how things unfold.

He recognized the girl early on, she had the capability to give Maja a hard time.

Mia looked around and quickly spotted the well-prepared Dalia.

Dalia's face was covered with heavy make-up, hiding her embarrassment.

Mia waved, "You're just in time, this woman stole my bracelet at school. She's not from our school, we should kick her out, right?"

Maja raised an eyebrow, looking at Dalia who had changed into a new set of clothes, with a hint of a smile on her lips.

Dalia seemed to be provoked by this smile. All she could think of was the smell of toilet water lingering in her nostrils, which made her feel sick.

Pretending not to know Maja, she waved directly to the security guard at the door.

"If it's a thief, then let's hand her over to the police."
