After ending her call with Carol, Maja dialed the hospital. The doc filled her in.

"Mr. Pennyfeather seemed to be coming around last night, but he's back to being stable today. We're still not sure when he'll wake up."

"Your grandparents showed up at the Pennyfeather's house. They heard about your dad and wanted to see him."
