Ian scowled, once again finding this woman to be incredibly meticulous in her speech.

"Uh huh."

Maja let out a sigh of relief, touched by his lack of unnecessary difficulties.

"Alright, I'll be there on time."

After spraying some painkillers, the pain in her ankle eased somewhat. She tidied up the first aid kit and put it back in the cabinet at the entrance.

As she closed the door, she added,

"Mr. Raymond, you should get some rest."

Ian's face instantly became colder, not quite sure what he was feeling, just a certain discomfort.

He loosened his tie, as if that would help dispel the strange emotions.

But the movement of untying his tie pulled at the wound on his palm, causing him to wince slightly.

She was just a woman he barely knew, there was no need for him to care.

Maja didn't pay any mind to what Ian thought, she had to rush to Crystalbrook Valley to deal with Daly's situation.
