Tricia was getting more and more nervous.

A while back, she had seen Ian once. He was standing in a crowd, eyes squinted, with a high, straight nose, talking to someone next to him. He was dressed in a well-tailored suit that looked impeccable, radiating an untouchable charm.

Now, she was finally standing in front of him for the first time, shaking all over from nervousness. She had been crushing on him for a long time, even more than three years.

She first knew his name, Ian, from a financial newspaper. Later, due to a series of coincidences, he became her sister's husband, but she didn't mind, because he would eventually divorce Maja.

Ian glanced at her and quickly looked away.

"What do you want?"

Tricia's hands fiddled nervously in front of her.

"I just heard you were here, I..."

"Are you stalking me?" Ian’s face turned cold.

Her affection for him was so obvious, it couldn't be ignored. Ian frowned, looking somewhat impatient.

"I've already told your father to tell you to stop."

Clearly, he mistook Tricia for Maja. Tricia stood there, pale, but then a gleam of ecstasy appeared in her eyes. It seemed that he didn't like Maja at all, if he did, he wouldn't have this attitude towards the Pennyfeather family.

So, even if he had been intimate with Maja, he didn't take her to heart.

Tricia lowered her head, her breathing became more and more unstable, jealousy made her heartache unbearable.

The man she had been crushing on for so many years, had been intimate with Maja. But she didn't care, because she still had a chance.

Ian had gotten into the car, and Tyler followed.

"Isn't this the one from the Pennyfeather family?"

They all thought of this, because Tricia's appearance was too coincidental, and she didn't make herself clear.

Ian frowned, remembering what Holden had once said, and sneered. He didn't know how his grandfather had been fooled into praising someone so useless.

Tyler raised an eyebrow, speaking bluntly, "Compared to Carlene, Maja falls short, no wonder you don't want anything to do with her."

That woman's ambition was too big, as if she wanted to completely possess Ian. Even after being neglected for three years, she still kept her enthusiasm.

Was it because of true love, or because she saw Ian's family background?

"Where's Cristina?"

Maja shook her head, she didn't know.

Neil coughed a couple of times, and then his secretary came in with company documents.

"Here are the documents you asked for."

Neil's secretary, Carter, was in his forties, and had been hired by him from the start. Maja saw that Neil was still busy working despite being so sick, she couldn't help but advise him.

"Dad, wait until you feel a little better..."

She was cut off by Neil before she could finish.

"If you were more decisive, I wouldn't have to work so hard. Ian's assistant came to tell me to watch what you say."

His voice paused a little, seemingly tentative.

"Maja, did you have an overly intimate relationship with a male colleague before, causing Ian to misunderstand?"
