[BL] Accidentally Becoming the Healer of the Deranged Archduke novel Chapter 382

Chapter 382: If Love Was Enough

Luna, Xion’s servant, had been brutally murdered. Her body was mangled in a way no ordinary human could inflict.

She had also been the reason the poison had entered Xion’s body.

Though, with how innocent she had seemed, it felt nearly impossible to believe.

Darius had personally inspected her, checked all the greyish tendrils that fluttered around her. They were far less than others, clearly showing her immaturity.

Someone as clumsy as her shouldn’t even be in the castle to begin with, but it was precisely that naivety that suited his Xion.

Darius had asked her to take care of his beloved, and now that same naive girl had betrayed her master with poison.

If only he weren’t so busy, if only he had taken another look at Luna, then nothing like this would have happened.

Even now, when he recalled that corpse almost buried in the black whips of sin, he had the urge to drag her back from hell and kill her all over again.

Allen, noticing the Archduke’s stormy eyes darken further, sighed.

"We need to take care of teacher. His food, his drinks, his sleep, everything should be on time. I have managed to stop the poison from spreading, but it will take some time to properly remove it from his body."

Darius hummed while staring at the pile of medicine on the table.

Being sick was something he was used to. But not in this way.

If it meant Xion being perfectly healthy, he would rather go back to being infected with Moonshade Affliction.

He looked toward the open doors where his lover was, and the rage in his veins reared its head.

Kill. Yes, I need to kill them all.

Meanwhile, lying on the clean covers, Xion shivered.

It was the third day since he got his half memories back, since he had lost his entire vision.

Not even a flicker of light passed through the dull, vacant void where his sight once was.

It wasn’t even the darkness he was witnessing. Rather, it was the lack of it, lack of both light and night, the colors, the faces, and the lack of everything else.

In the depths of that lifeless void, Soren’s voice echoed cruelly in his mind.

"Be good, little angel, cry a bit more. Brother needs your tears."

The phantom pain of whips that had landed on his back until his skin tore away, and the rotten stench which started to emit from Soren every time he tortured him with a giddy smile still lingered on his skin.

Just the thought of those two months he had spent in Soren’s cage had him flinch at the sudden touch.

"Brother, it’s me."

"Ah," Xion sighed, visibly relaxing against the soft sheets. "I am sorry for troubling you like this."

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Noxian huffed while gently helping Xion up.

Setting the pillow behind his back, he kept babbling, "You know, brother, I made porridge, just the way you taught me. You have to taste it and praise me."

"No matter what, you still have to praise me."

However, in the next second, his laugh turned into a violent cough. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

"It will create rejection from within." Allen had told him. "Teacher is different from us mortals. We can’t... dirty him more than we already have."
