Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1335

Chapter 1335: Willart Class

Atticus made his way through the hallways of the willhall, lost in his thoughts.

He’d just spoken to Masner about what had been troubling him, and he couldn’t help but admit, it was truly troublesome.

’They took precautions.’ His mind had begun piecing together everything, using the info from Masner.

According to him, the reason he hadn’t felt Kale’s world despite killing and absorbing his will was because of the precautions most factions had put in place to prevent something like this from happening.

Pride was a difficult thing to control, and gods, especially newly emerging ones, had a lot of it. The factions had experienced far too many losses because of this.

There had been instances of gods blatantly challenging their peers and then losing their worlds in the process.

Each world lost was a loss to the faction. Therefore, the faction made it so that lower ranked gods didn’t have the authority to wager their worlds.

To do that, they needed to take permission from at least a Count. Even a Viscount couldn’t.

’I should have made it clear.’

That was where Atticus had messed up. He couldn’t help but blame his lack of information. If he had made it clear from the outset that he wanted Kale’s world, then this probably wouldn’t have happened.

Instead, the wager had been solely focused on their lives.

’Lesson learned.’

Though he had taken it as an experience, Atticus still couldn’t help but feel a pang of regret.

The furry creature that presided over their match had called Kale a Baron. From the information he’d gotten from the library, it meant he had at least five worlds under his belt.

’Eldoralth is about one and a half.’

Atticus had checked the dimensions for how the sizes of worlds were measured, and after comparing them with Eldoralth’s measurements, he was able to determine that they were just above one Baron ranked world.

Which meant, for him to reach the Baron rank, he needed to absorb at least three and a half more Baron sized worlds.

Atticus soon had to clear his thoughts when it was time for his next class of the day. It was his only other class, in fact.

He had used the free time he had to think about all that was occurring. The Redflame’s sudden hostility, the precautions of the major factions.

Now that he’d shown himself capable to the other gods, he had no more power of surprise. They would see him coming, and higher ranked gods would seldom want to agree to their peers wagering their worlds.

Reaching and entering the class, Atticus was met with a more spacious room.

The chairs were arranged the same way, with rows ascending the further one was from the front. But each row had far more space from each other, and the platform in front was also more spacious.

Atticus wasn’t shocked to see the classroom more packed than the last class. The major reason being what the class was about.
