Of course, Bai Meiyue was not pleased with the situation. She knew that the reproductive abilities of these mutated species were really good. But if this went on, they would have so much livestock that they would have a hard time finishing everything and the more livestock they collected, the more she would have to work. After all, without her detox powder, this meat cannot be eaten.
Bai Meiyue decided that she would look for Doctor Cui and relay the formula of the detox powder and have him make it. She couldn’t make so much powder. But more than taking care of the medicinal powder, she needed to first deal with the problem of the extreme rate of reproduction. She couldn’t bear the thought of such a good mansion being turned upside down by these animals.
Today, they had toppled pots of rice and water; who knows what they might do the next second?
Bai Meiyue shuddered even thinking about it; she certainly couldn’t allow these beasts to cause any more trouble. A glint flashed in her eyes, and she turned to look at the pigs, chickens and goats that were running around. Since it had come to this, she might as well do that.
CLUCKKK!!
The agonising scream of a rooster echoed through the entire mansion. Lei Qian, who was helping Mother Bai in drying the rice, turned around and rushed out to see what was going on. He was worried that this time something else would happen. But just as he bolted out of the doors, she saw Bai Meiyue sitting on a chair with a pig butcher table in front of her. There was a sharp cleaver in her hands, and from the looks of it, she was just done finishing turning the chicken into a eunuch.
All of a sudden, a chill climbed between his legs, and Lei Qian squeezed his legs together tightly. With a slight quiver in his voice, he asked Bai Meiyue, "What are you doing?"
"I am castrating them." Bai Meiyue raised her head and looked at Lei Qian with a calm look on her face as she raised her hand and wiped the blood off her face. She then dumped the rooster in the arms of the nurse, who had learned some veterinary skills. Bai Meiyue was about to drop this matter in the hands of a vet, but unfortunately, there was none, and the nurse was way too squeamish.
She refused to cut the things of these beasts, so Bai Meiyue had no other choice but to take matters into her own hands.
"But–"
"Don’t worry; it doesn’t hurt them," said Bai Meiyue as she picked up the acupuncture needle that was sitting on the table. She said to him, "I block their pain receptors before cutting their things off, and then nurse Xu here will inject them with the pain reliever. It’s fine."
As she spoke, she calmly cleaned off the thing of another male goat.
It’s not that. It’s just that your expression looks way too pleased while cutting their things off; I suspect that there is something that you are not telling me.
