Alpha’s Enslaved Mate novel Chapter 2

‘’You have no idea how long I have waited for this day to come. Your father murdered my parents in cold blood!’’ he confessed.-

Life worked in so many mysterious ways, my mate just had to be one of my father’s victims, now I am being dragged into the crossfire.

‘’He took away the two people who mattered to me the most and now, I have gotten my revenge and let me tell you how I feel. I feel really good, at least, my parents would be up there in Heaven, proud of what I have done.’’ he added in a cold tone.

I never experienced what fatherly love felt like or even, motherly care. There was really no difference between an orphan and I because I was abused like one. There were several times that I would cry myself to sleep, hoping that I might not wake up. I wanted to join my mother wherever she was because it seemed that peace was only on the other side.

Despite all the torture that I have faced in the hands of my father, I did not want to see his death, people are mostly driven by anger and revenge, maybe, his parents went against an agreement with my father or he mistakenly killed them.

‘’There must be a misunderstanding behind your parent’s death.’’ I uttered but my words only made him more furious.

He squinted his eyes at me before scoffing, ‘’Misunderstanding? Your father was a very cruel man and if you still do not believe me. I will just bring his confidants for you to hear all his dark secrets.’’

‘’Guards!’’

‘’Yes, Alpha!’’

‘’Bring them in.’’ he ordered and three men came in.

They were kind of familiar but I could not really place it since I never had a close relationship with my father to know his friends.

‘’Tell all the vicious sins that Alpha Wesley committed.’’ He commanded them and they started talking immediately.

‘’He has killed so many people, he gets whatever he wants either by free will or by force. Alpha Parker’s parents were one of his victims alongside the late Alpha Mason whom they claimed died of sickness. Your father uses dark magic as well on me and just like him, this girl is evil as well! His blood still run through her veins, he must have taught a thing or two about his deadly ways.’’ They ended their confession with an accusation.

If only they knew that I was bullied, my whole life, then, they would not be saying such a thing,’’Thank you. You can leave now.’’

‘’Open it.’’ He ordered me.

I hesitated before doing so, as I prepared my heart for whatever content was in there, I took in a deep breath despite my heart racing so fast, I closed my left eye as I slowly opened the box

My eyes widened in shock as I saw the head of my father in it, I instantly threw the box away and retreated in fear, the image kept replaying in my head and I tried to shake it.

‘’You should not be terrified by your mentor and father,’’ he asserted.

He was still adamant on the fact that I was my father’s evil minion whereas I was not, even though my father was a cruel man, I could not bear to see him in such a state.

He was never going to release me from this dungeon if he still had the mindset that I was guilty, I needed to vindicate myself or I might be in prison forever. I didn’t care if he rejected me at this point, I just wanted my freedom, something that I have never had before. Hatred was the driving force that made my father act like a monster towards me and I saw the same thing in his eyes, he had the possibility of hurting me and he had such a valid reason behind it.

My father was dead but I was the one carrying his cross that had the blood of people that he had wronged in the past.
