After Surviving the Apocalypse, I Built a City in Another World novel Chapter 1523

Chapter 1523: Otto and Misha (Part 2)

A lot of people took photos that day, enjoying the sight of two handsome blondes swimming together. One pale and one tan, both gorgeous.

Some BL lovers also came up with a name for them: Sparkling Water Pair.

Finding fanfiction about this pair (which wasn’t distributed since Otto refused it) was the happiest day in Oslo and Obi’s lives. Of course, this was something for the future.

Misha, on the other hand, leisurely sat cross-legged like a gorgeous queen. Her Pina colada found a way next to her, and someone handed her a clean towel to cover her back while she lounged next to the pool.

In any case, Otto had very good coordination and, under the eyes of many people, he quickly learned how to swim.

His level was high and his movements caused a few waves, and Misha couldn’t help but flinch when he reached the other end and suddenly turned around, crossing the length of the pool in a few blinks, straight to her.

He emerged like a mermaid and splashed water. With the light from the golden hour, he was mesmerizing as he stood still in front of her.

To think he was a sack of potatoes less than an hour ago. Now, he could swim with grace. Not to mention, his appearance was top-notch.

His hair was wet and sexily clung to his neck, and his muscles glistened particularly well under the reddish light of the sky.

Otto saw her gaping— eyes slightly wider, dilated, and breathing a bit more irregular than usual— and a handsome smirk graced his lips.

He extended his arms and placed them at the side of the pool, not too far from her legs, as if caging her in.

A few squeals sounded around them, but neither of them noticed it.

"How did I do?" He asked, staring straight into her eyes, which looked more golden than ever.

Misha’s eyes flickered. "Impressive."

The moment was broken when another ’mermaid’ emerged.

"Whoa! You’re really fast!" A voice sounded. Hubert was optimistic as always. The surprise caused Misha’s glass to topple over though, pouring the remaining drink on the side.

"Oh no—did I surprise you? I’ll replace the drink," Hubert said. "I’ll treat you to the bar okay?"

Before Misha could answer though, a certain tall aborigine—whose strong arms were still caging her—stared. "Aren’t you tired? You travelled nonstop."

Hubert blinked, before a bit of a realization hit him. He didn’t know she was among the newcomers, so he understood that she must’ve been very tired.

He was about to call a rain check, rescheduling the appointment, when someone yelled ’Hubert, get a clue!’

He blinked, and then looked at everyone again, and then looked at Misha. It was only now that the tanned blonde realized the very suggestive position the other two were in.

"A-Ah, I’m sorry," he said, stepping back, feeling his heart break.

There goes another potential girlfriend flying away...

Hubert dejectedly left and Otto nodded in approval. Then his relaxed face was muted when he saw Misha’s look.

She crossed her arms and looked at him. "So what do you think you’re doing, hmn?"

Otto felt a little embarrassed. "I’m just being a gentleman."

"I could use a drink right now."

"Then come with me."

...

Misha crossed her arms as she looked at him. "You’re being unsmooth, Mister Otto," she said, a lilt of amusement in her voice, but she willingly went down on that floor, anyway.
