One of the staff approached Misha with a menu in hand. They could order goods there and charge the room, and she thought it was perfect for the atmosphere.
She looked at the menu and was surprised at the selection. How did these things follow them here? She couldn’t imagine it, but she didn’t think too much for now, very much intent to relax.
"One pina colada, please," she said with a smile, and the waiter happily took her order, definitely prioritizing her order.
While she waited, she felt a few stares in her direction. It wasn’t anything new for her, so she ignored them. Very soon, her drink arrived, and she relaxedly took a sip.
"Hey," a voice sounded at the side, and her eyebrows rose to see it was someone familiar.
"Otto," she said, a bit startled that he was there. "You also had a room here?"
"We always have a room here," he smiled, looking quite confident.
The Golds had been paying for a permanent room in the Grand Hotel. It was a yearly lease of sorts wherein a room would always be reserved for them. This was to allow anyone in the family to enjoy the services at any time.
They could also use it to welcome personal guests. Once things calmed down, the Golds could see themselves sending invites to old friends. All of these people had a certain standing in this world. How could they lack hospitality?
Anyway, Otto took the recliner next to Misha. It was definitely occupied before, but who could handle Otto’s stare?
Misha’s eyebrows rose. "Do you need anything?"
"Not really. I simply quite like the view here," he said, taking off his shirt—showing off his very impressive and toned body—as he laid down.
The movement made many of the women around blush, stealing glances at him—some blatant, and some shy.
Misha’s blue eyes traced over his figure for a few seconds before pulling her sight away. She relaxed and drank her cocktail (which was served in gorgeous glass cups).
Speaking of that, the production of blown glass in Alterra was really impressive. She had seen the glass cups and mugs, many of which had intricate patterns and textures.
If the place didn’t have anti-theft rules going on, this would definitely be a favorite item to ’take home’.
Anyway, for a few minutes, the two gorgeous creatures lay in their respective chairs without talking to each other.
After seeing that they weren’t ’together’, many people thought of approaching.
First were some locals with Otto. After many months, the liberal fashion choices that had been popular in Terran also entered Alterra’s Mainstream fashion.
This included rather revealing bathing suits.
Combined with Otto’s reputation of being a bit of a playboy, a lot of assertive women tended to approach him.
There was a pair of girls there, and they were quite pretty.
He... actually hadn’t even had sex for more than a year.
Someone got out of the pool and approached Misha. "I haven’t seen you here before," he said, kneeling down a bit so he didn’t look down on her. He looked confident but also respectful, making sure to speak to her at eye level.
Misha was used to the attention and wasn’t flustered. Rather, she smiled beautifully at him.
Hubert was soft on beautiful and charming women. Miss Althea caught his heart before, and now this one’s making it flutter too.
He gulped. "I... do you want to go on a swim with me?" he asked.
Otto scoffed, thinking the invite was idiotic. However, he saw Misha stand up and take off her robe. They didn’t even had the chance to gulp the saliva down when she jumped into the pool.
She emerged from the water, a glimmering beauty reflecting the reddish skies.
Otto’s breath hitched a bit, but the moment was cut when Hubert gulped and jumped down, and the two swam around together.
