"What are the chances the ’disease’ is because of them?" she asked, and it made the entire room quiet down,
Internally, she was blaming this fugly lord for why he hadn’t mentioned Alterra during their love-making sessions! She could’ve contributed!
He certainly didn’t have trouble telling her everything else, even with how another women—especially Sasha— served him back then!!! How could he skip this important thing?
It must be that damned misogyny again, with these idiots thinking they had nothing to contribute in the "men’s arena"!
Sandra gritted her teeth. If she had known Voumi had made contact with Alterra, she’d have pushed for them to wear that place down! These idiots! How could they lose such a good opportunity?
Maybe they’d even capture that woman Althea and she could torture her as a slave!
Sandra was not a slave—she was even a proper citizen, courtesy of this master of hers. This meant she could order those slaves however she wanted!
And she had done it many times. For example, she treated Misha as a servant whenever they were in the same space.
So many women irked her, Misha was no exception. That blonde was so pretentious—still so proud and graceful—despite being in the same situation!
Sandra also knew she was looked down on by that blonde. Misha never had to say anything, but her thoughts were obvious!
Bitch!
She thought she was so superior? She was pandering after the heir! She, Sandra, was with the Lord!
If that woman wasn’t Hesso’s current favorite, she’d have done it much worse.
To make up for her annoyances with Misha, Sandra made it hell for many of the slaves she encountered. She really enjoyed it, too—literally holding people’s lives in her hands.
Anyway, if she had known Alterra would cross paths with her again, she’d have done her best to make their lives hell, too!
However, Mafo was just so arrogant that he didn’t put the new town on his radar at all. This was because he had thousands of elementalists, and he was confident that he could even broker deals with cities! If that illness hadn’t appeared, they’d have gotten a lot more leverage!
That said, she didn’t know how they could’ve made people ill, but if they got those powerful people to cooperate, then they probably would’ve made deals like the latter getting a portion of the slaves for free!
Regardless of what it was, Sandra would never let Alterra win!!
"Have you been there before?" he asked, looking down at her.
She nodded.
"Send me your map," he ordered, and she hurriedly did so.
He looked at the map, studying it. Alterra was about a thousand kilometers east to Southeast of them. This was not close by, but they were probably among the nearest Towns to them.
His eyes narrowed. "But we received a letter from Warrior City, and Enok was strong, and he was definitely not one of your kind."
Further, while he had not been to that City before, it should be in a completely different region from this Alterra. Logically speaking, there should be no intersection, especially one where the City would do the other favors.
"It won’t hurt to check, would it?" she said, urging him. "As long as you don’t attack prematurely, there should be no problem.
She gave him a look. "Don’t underestimate Alterra. We are from another world, bringing things you can’t imagine here. Maybe they got a deal with that City."
Mafo disliked her tone very much, but he listened on, knowing he would need the information. He wasn’t even thinking of rewarding her. He was thinking of how to make sure she wouldn’t get too arrogant.
After all, she was talking so much for a woman, and in such an important meeting too! Did he spoil her too much?
"Alterra is in the Southeast, more on the east, while Warrior City is far east. They’re still heading in the same direction," one of the Elders said. "Even if they are really going to the City, it wouldn’t be a loss because we have to check Alterra anyway."
However, as she saw so many people were mobilizing against it, and how so many people were taking it seriously, Sandra was once again reminded that Alterra was a Town!
While she was here sucking hideous men’s dicks, that woman was an Elder in a town! The contrast was so big she felt nauseous.
