After Surviving the Apocalypse, I Built a City in Another World novel Chapter 1297

Clank!

Clank!

[Forceful Thrust]

BAM! freёwebnovel.com

The aborigine targeted another one of the shields—Tacky's—and, like the other one, he was pushed back.

The difference this time was that the aborigine felt wind coming from the lad's back, which ultimately softened his fall. In the end, his attack just caused the opponent to slide back a few meters.

The pure force did make the wind user shake a bit, and his knee buckled a little in weakness. The aborigine smirked, taking advantage of this to jump up with his sword, ready to stab.

However, his instincts flared and he jumped back, barely avoiding another attack from the side.

BAM!

This one was from a muscular young man, and his hit actually created a small crater on the earth he was just standing on.

It was a Strongman this time.

His eyes twitched, but he saw the lad's level and calmed down, immediately shifting his blade to attack him from the side.

The Strongman had a large sword that practically doubled as a shield. As someone who was naturally strong for his level, it indeed seemed like the practical weapon of choice.

However, the aborigine was not one to be intimidated by lads half his level—whether they were an Elementalist or a Power!

Nattan, the power user, did feel the differences in level. He might've awakened Super Strength, but it wasn't like he was much stronger than the other man. Not to mention, his speed couldn't keep up, so he entered defense very quickly.

Fortunately, even while the aborigine was pushing him back with his strong parries and his slices, Nattan managed to stand firm using his physical advantages.

Things got more complicated when Essan, the superspeed appeared.

"You're late!"

CLANK!

"I don't have superspeed like you do!" Nattan retorted, and the two of them sent the aborigine a barrage of attacks.

Although their levels were low—less than half of his—their physical upgrade allowed them to handle his retaliation. Of course, each damage on him was not big, but as the smaller and shallow wounds piled up on him, the aborigine started feeling a bit weaker.

This got worse when the two shields recovered and found him, too, and began to attack him from behind. They were elementalists, and they targeted his equipment using their elements, which had more effective harm to it than other weapons.

"ARRGGH!" he screamed, waving his sword around as fast as he could, no longer caring for his dwindling spirit as long as he hit them all. He would occasionally make them pause and he even pushed them back many times, but they were relentless in their attacks.

At some point, his defense equipment—one that protected his chest, neck and legs—finally gave way.

Crack!

And suddenly, the four people around him used Skills, not giving him a moment to recover.

[Strong Punch]

[Dagger Barrage]

[Wind Blade]

[Earth Spike]

The Strongman's punch hit him straight to the face, causing his wounded neck to bury deeper into the Speedster's dagger. The wind created a slashing wound on his chest and ultimately pushed him to the ground, where a small but sharp earth spike waited for him.

The pain all over his body made him dazed for a moment, and he looked up at the clear sky above him, the shadows of the four people casting on him.

They wore the alchemically improved armors that Clutch, Althea, and Hoffen jointly developed, after all.

These were prototype models of course, and what they modified was just the coating of the fabric. How long it'd actually last hadn't been tested yet.

Rather, it was being tested now, so they couldn't get too careless either

Anyway, the water user was getting annoyed that Luis' equipment hadn't seen the damage that it should. He started to use some skills and continued with his barrage while Luis continued to defend.

But how could Luis really allow himself to be pushed? Luckily, he still had a bit of his favorite liquid in his space (though he'd need to refill it in the refilling stations soon).

Before, they only had their cooking oil. Now, they had petroleum! He needed a lot less for the same effect, too~

Splash~

Black liquid covered the enemy, making him gasp. "What is this black liq— AHHHHH!"

Luis didn't wait for another breath and started running backwards, using a good portion of his remaining mana to send one of his stronger flamethrowers, and quickly dashing away.

"AHHHH!" the man screamed as he felt himself burning. Elemental fire was much sharper and more painful than normal fire,—and was even stronger this time, for some reason—so he naturally focused on putting it out.

Instinctively, the man used his precious water and poured it on himself.

Boom!

Luis stopped running and looked at his masterpiece, immediately skipping forward again.

"Didn't you know you'll only make it spread faster that way?" he said, just as he jumped over the man.

He took some metallic chains in his space and tied him up really good with a humiliating pose.

And so, the fight in this empty neighborhood finally concluded.
