She couldn’t bring herself to like Nadine either. Nadine and Natalie were inseparable, so she figured they were pretty much the same kind of person.
“Oh, that reminds me, I’ve got some gossip you’ll want to hear. Jordan’s getting close to Malvina. It’s emotional for now, but I bet things will turn physical soon.”
Isabella stared in disbelief. “He’s cheating?”
Jordan had always loved Natalie, in this life and the last. They’d always seemed so close, so in love.
And now he was messing around with his secretary.
Isabella had met Malvina before. She was young, pretty, and had this sweet, gentle way about her. Honestly, she and Natalie weren’t so different on the outside.
Jordan clearly had a type. He liked women who were delicate, sweet, the gentle sort.
“They travel together for work a lot, and when they’re alone, it’s obvious there’s something going on. They’ve already kissed and hugged. My people got photos, completely by accident.”
Harold’s team had been keeping an eye on Natalie. They never expected to stumble onto Jordan’s affair instead.
Isabella shook her head. “He loved Natalie so much. And she’s always been good to him, completely devoted. They looked like the perfect couple, but he still cheated. Men really are unreliable. He’s just like his dad. Those genes run strong.”
Harold jumped in. “Isabella, don’t lump all of us together just because of a few bad examples. Most men are actually pretty responsible. We don’t all betray our families so easily.”
“Jordan and Jackson don’t speak for everyone.”
Isabella let out a small laugh. “Fine, you’re right. There are still some good men out there.”
