"Ha ha ha..." Damaris let out a wild laugh, the sound chilling and unsettling. She didn't answer the question directly. "Janina, we've never met, but for the sake of those two children, let me give you a piece of advice. Leave. Take your children and get as far away as you can. Don't provoke them." Before Janina could ask anything else, Damaris had already hung up. She immediately tried calling back, but a voice prompt informed her the phone was off.

Janina immediately typed out Damaris's exact words and sent them to 'The Graces' Chat' and to Kenneth. Staring at her phone, Janina mulled over Damaris's words. Leave, get as far away as possible. Don't provoke them… Who was 'they'? Why was she telling her to leave and not to provoke them? And why had Damaris posted a video with Farmer apologizing to Yvonne, only to turn around and try to form an alliance with her? Janina couldn't make any sense of Damaris's actions.

Wendy looked at Janina. "Don't you think Damaris knows something?" Janina snapped back to reality, her expression grave. "Yes. And her voice on the phone sounded so weak, as if she'd been dealt a heavy blow. You saw how she thrashed Yvonne the other day. Does she look like someone who takes things lying down? First, she posts an apology video, and now she wants to team up with me. It's too sudden a change."

Wendy frowned, propping her chin on her hand in thought. "You don't think the Aurelius family threatened Damaris, do you? Like, threatening her parents' lives or something? And now she's unwilling to let it go, so she wants to ally with you!" Janina nodded noncommittally. Threatening family was exactly the kind of thing Elena would do. "It's possible. Janina immediately clicked on the video. Wendy leaned over to watch with her.

The video showed Farmer and Elena shopping at a mall. Elena entered a men's clothing store, and Janina initially thought she was buying something for Julius. But she was proven wrong in the next second. Elena held a piece of clothing up to Farmer's chest to see how it would look, then told him to go to the fitting room to try it on.
