A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 575

"Look at you, you deserve no way to win Abigail's love." Seeing his irritated expression, Egbert smiled jokingly. Then he took out a bunch of keys and opened the door.

"Why do you have the key?" When Bradley saw that Egbert could easily open the door, his anger overflowed. He grabbed Egbert's clothes and flew off the handle, as if he wanted to kill Egbert.

Egbert raised his eyebrows and looked at Bradley's furious face. He said in a strange voice, "That's why I said it's no wonder that Amelia doesn't love you. You're so pitiful."

"Egbert!" Bradley could remain calm in front of others, but he didn't know why he was provoked easily by Egbert's casual words.

Looking at how angry Bradley was, Egbert sighed deeply and said, "The key was given to me by Amelia. As I said before, if you like her, don't hurt her. She is actually... living a very hard life."

"I hurt her? I am the one who has been hurt by her all the time!"

Bradley sneered and let go of Egbert with a somewhat glum face.

Egbert glanced at Bradley and pursed his lips. He wanted to say something, but he didn't.

Egbert took the lead in walking to Amelia's bedroom. Looking at Egbert's movements, Bradley's eyes were filled with apathy.

"I'm going to find her. You're not allowed to come in."

How could Egbert walk into Amelia's bedroom?

Looking at Bradley's nervous and overbearing face, Egbert was just amused.

He spread his hands and said nothing, letting Bradley come in.

Bradley glanced at Egbert with hostile eyes and then walked into Amelia's room.

Unexpectedly, he saw Amelia lying on the bed with a pale face.

"Amelia!" Seeing Amelia's weak look, Bradley felt so worried, as if his heart was being pinched by something.

Bradley couldn't care about anything else. He rushed to Amelia, carried her in his arms and shook her body violently.

"What's going on?" Bradley's horrifying voice shocked Egbert who was at the door. When he came in, he saw Bradley holding Amelia's body in his arms.

Amelia lay motionless in Bradley's arms.

Bradley looked at Egbert with a pair of blank eyes, like a helpless child.

"D*mn it, what are you doing here? Take her to the hospital!" Amelia didn't look well, but Bradley was in a daze and didn't know what to do, Egbert was so anxious that he roared at Bradley.

After being roared by Egbert, Bradley came to senses. He wrapped Amelia with a blanket, held her in his arms and rushed out of her room.

Looking at how worried Bradley was, Egbert shook his head self-mockingly.

Sometimes, love was so... unreasonable. You would know when you saw how anxious Bradley was.

Egbert pressed the position between his eyebrows and followed behind Bradley.

After arriving at the hospital, Bradley carried Amelia in his arms and broke into the director's office.

The director didn't know what had happened at all, and he was forced to treat Amelia.

The director gave Amelia a check- up and said, "There are many soft-tissue traumas in Miss Xi's body. Ahem... Well, her wounds are infected, that's why she has a high fever. I've already asked the nurse to give her an injection. She will be all right soon."

"You can leave now." When Bradley heard that there was no big problem with Amelia, he breathed a sigh of relief. He waved his hand and asked the director to leave.

Poor director, after being treated by Bradley like this, he felt so wronged, and Bradley even looked at him with disgust.

After the director left, Bradley reached out his hand and gently touched Amelia's pale and weak face.

He put his lips on hers and rubbed her lips lightly. He said in an intimate and fragile manner, "Amelia, you cruel woman." However, even if Amelia was cold to him, he couldn't deceive his heart. He loved Amelia, even if Amelia had never loved him, he still loved her.

Egbert stood outside the ward with an exquisite fruit basket in his hand. He wanted to go in, but when he saw how tenderly Bradley treated Amelia, he sighed deeply and turned around to leave.

Bradley treated Amelia well. Egbert would be happy if Bradley and Amelia could be with each other. In the past few years, it was too hard for Amelia to live alone.

Amelia had a dream. She dreamed of Tyrone, whom she missed all the time.

Tyrone stood not far away from Amelia, his eyes were still so gentle as he called Amelia's name.

When Amelia was about to rush to Tyrone, he disappeared and turned into a mass of air.

Seeing this, Amelia was flustered and her face became pale, "Tyrone... Where are you? Tyrone!"

She waved her arms and called Tyrone's name. Bradley's face was somewhat mad. He reached out and grabbed Amelia's arm, saying in a cold voice, "Amelia, I'm Bradley."

Tyrone... Amelia thought of Tyrone again. In her dream, who else could exist except Tyrone?

Bradley sneered, and there was no emotion in his eyes.

Perhaps it was because of Bradley's indifferent voice, Amelia came back to earth. She opened her eyes slowly and saw Bradley's handsome face.

She was a little puzzled, as if she hadn't seen him clearly.

Amelia's hands, which was hidden under the quilt, were suddenly clenched into fists.

"You really don't love me at all?" When Bradley heard what Amelia said, he felt like someone was cutting his heart with a knife, which was very painful. Amelia looked at Bradley with aloofness and said coldly, "Do you think I will love you? The man I love the most in my life is Tyrone. I only love him. Except for him, I won't love anyone else."

"Enough!" Bradley's nerves were stimulated by Amelia's words. He pinched her palm, glared at Amelia and said with difficulty, "Amelia, you are the most hardhearted woman in this world."

He turned around and left Amelia's ward. Amelia was left alone in the quiet ward. She leaned against the pillow behind her and didn't move. Her eyes were depressed, and her face was pale.

Egbert came in. He said faintly, "Abigail, why do you have to do this?"

"Since I can't love him, I shouldn't give him hope, should I?"

Amelia raised her head and looked at Egbert with a faint smile.

Egbert knew very well that Amelia didn't want to treat Bradley heartlessly.

He sat on a chair by the bed, held his chin with his hands, and stared at Amelia meaningfully, saying, "Don't you love Bradley?"

"I don't love him at all." Amelia did not avoid Egbert's eyes at all. She raised her head and looked at Egbert with uncaring eyes.

Looking at the expression in Amelia's eyes, Egbert said with gloomy eyes, "If... you really don't love him, then... why are you so sad?"

"I'm not sad. I'm just relieved, because Bradley won't pester me anymore." Amelia frowned, glanced at Egbert and said with a faint of displeasure.

"Really? Do you think so?" Egbert looked at Amelia leisurely and said seriously.

Amelia's body was slightly tense. She lowered her head and looked at her hand without saying anything.

"Amelia..."

"Egbert, I'm fine. I want to stay alone." Amelia was very clear what Egbert wanted to say, but she just wanted to stay alone for a while.

"Okay, then, have a good rest. I'll leave.". The ward became unusually quiet. Leaning against the pillow behind her, Amelia opened her empty eyes, slowly raised her hand which were hidden under the quilt, and put it on her chest.

Just now, when she saw the sad expression on Bradley's face, she felt very painful...

Egbert asked her if she didn't fall in love with Bradley.

Did she really not fall in love with Bradley?

Could Amelia deceive her heart?
