A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 562

Amelia looked out of the window with sorrowful and empty eyes, muttering to Egbert.

When Egbert heard what Amelia said, he nodded slightly and said, "Okay, I see. I will prepare for it. I've never done such a thing before. You have to be mentally prepared."

"Even if I have only one percent chance, I won't give up." Amelia's face was horribly apathetic, she said coldly and stubbornly.

How could Egbert not know about her insistence? But he couldn't do anything about it except sighing.

"I heard that you are pregnant." Even if Egbert was in Beijing, he was well-informed.

Amelia lowered her head and looked at her slightly swollen belly. She didn't cheat Egbert, but nodded slightly and said, "Yes, I've been pregnant for three months."

"Don't you... have any feelings for him?"

"In order to compensate him, I... got pregnant with his child. It's a... compensation for him. I believe that Tyrone will not dislike me."

Amelia said with a stiff face. Bradley's face flashed through her mind, she thought of what he looked like when he was gentle, proud, even jealous and angry.

"Bradley... I'm sorry. I can only hurt you like this for Tyrone. I'm so sorry..." After hanging up the phone, Amelia put down the phone, turned around and wanted to go downstairs to drink some soup. Then she saw Bradley leaning against the door frame, and she didn't know how long he had been watching her.

His eyes were dark and gloomy as he stared at Amelia. His pupils were full of emotions, which was particularly meaningful.

Amelia was shocked by the expression in Bradley's eyes, and her whole body was very tense.

Her fingers bent because she was too nervous, and she did not dare look at Bradley.

Did Bradley... hear what she said?

If... it was like this, then...

Just as Amelia was thinking about it, Bradley went forward, hugged her slender body and held her tightly in his arms.

Amelia's body couldn't help trembling slightly.

"Amelia... I've made it clear to the Brooks family that I'll break off the engagement to Nelly. Let's get married, okay?"

Bradley whispered to Amelia in a deep voice.

There were tears in Amelia's eyes. She raised her hand, held Bradley's waist feebly and said, "Okay."

As long as it was Bradley's request, Amelia would agree...

Because she owed Bradley, and she had to pay him back.

"My mother will come back to Imperial City soon. She will definitely like you." Hearing what Amelia said, Bradley's eyes lit up, he was like a child who had got his favorite toy.

Amelia still remembered that when she first saw Bradley, she felt that he was a noble and indifferent man, but he had changed, he became gentle and even a little humble.

This kind of feeling was very subtle...

"Did the child make trouble today?"

Bradley looked at Amelia's beautiful face with affection and put his hand on her belly. He gently touched her belly and said in a soft voice

Amelia glanced at Bradley and nodded lightly, "No... He's very obedient, really..."

Hearing this, Bradley breathed a sigh of relief.

"If he dares not be obedient, I must give him a lesson!"

Bradley said to Amelia's belly in a fierce tone, but his expression was unprecedentedly tender.

"I'll take you out for dinner later. After dinner, let's go for a movie."

"Okay."

Amelia looked at Bradley with tender eyes. No matter what Bradley said, she would agree.

Bradley held Amelia's face and stared at her with serious eyes. He said in a hoarse and deep voice, "Amelia, do you love me?"

"Yes."

Amelia said to Bradley without hesitation.

"I love you, Amelia, so don't leave me. I'll give you whatever you want, I'll give you everything."

Bradley held Amelia's head, got close to her lips and kissed her, murmuring.

His movement was unusually gentle, which touched Amelia's heart.

She almost burst into tears.

But soon, she held back her tears and suppressed her sadness.

"Bradley, you know something, right? Even if you know, why do you pretend not to know?"

"Bradley... How could you be like this? How could you..."

Amelia slowly closed her eyes and took a deep breath with difficulty.

It was time for her to return Bradley's heart to Tyrone.

"Miss Xi, Young Master Egbert asked us to come here." Just as Amelia was staring at Bradley in a daze, several men in black came in and bowed to her respectfully.

Amelia looked at them blandly and said with a tired face, "Take him away. Let's go back to Beijing immediately."

"Okay."

Two men helped Bradley out of the private room in hotel. As soon as they walked to the door, they bumped into Cornell.

There was a complicated expression in Cornell's handsome face. He looked at Amelia and asked gently, "Where are you going?"

"Cornell, leave this alone." Looking at Cornell's face which was the same asTyrone's, Amelia felt a pain in her heart. She bit her lip and said to Cornell stubbornly and indifferently.

Cornell stepped forward, grabbed Amelia's wrist and said in a deep voice, "You want me to watch you fall into the morass and can't get out?"

Amelia's heart seemed to be hit by something fiercely. Her face turned pale again, and her breathing gradually became weak.

She shook off Cornell's hand and said in a feeble voice, "I'm not in a morass. I know clearly what I'm doing."

"Do you think I'll allow you to make a mistake like this?"

"I'm not wrong... He can't wait any longer. Cornell, leave now. I don't want to be your enemy."

"Amelia, tell me, do you really love him so much?" Cornell stared at Amelia with sharp and serious eyes, saying.

There was a hint of grief in Amelia's eyes as she said, "Yes, I love Tyrone the most. We grew up together. Now that you know it, I won't hide it from you. I'm here to find Tyrone's heart. I have to do this."

"Bradley loves you. Amelia, are you going to hurt a man who loves you so much for a dead man? Can you bear to kill him?"

Being questioned by Cornell, Amelia found that she couldn't say a word.

In order not to let herself change her mind, she said with a straight face, "This is a matter between Bradley and me. Please don't ask me more."

"Don't do anything stupid, Amelia..."

"Knock him out." Amelia's face darkened, then she looked at the bodyguards behind her and ordered coldly.

"Amelia, listen to me. That year..."

"Oh." Cornell grabbed Amelia's hand in a hurry and wanted to say something, but he felt a pain on his back. Then his face turned pale, he fell to the ground and fainted.

Looking at Cornell who had passed out, there was a complicated expression in Amelia's eyes. She asked the bodyguards to help Cornell lay aside, then she turned around and left.
