A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 559

Looking at Amelia's pale and panicky face, Nelly smiled more gently.

The gentler Nelly's smile was, the colder Amelia felt.

"Bradley will definitely know your purpose soon. I have sorted out all the evidence and I will show them to Bradley. After he sees those evidence, do you think you can still stay in Imperial City? If you are smart enough, you'd better leave here alone, otherwise... I won't let you go. Do you hear me?"

Amelia's lips turned paler. Her whole body was stiff, and she looked at Nelly with apathy and fear in her eyes. Nelly looked like a bloodthirsty demon, strange and even scary, which scared Amelia.

"Nelly, what are you doing?"

Just as the two of them were looking at each other, Bradley's deep voice came from the door.

Hearing Bradley's deep voice, Amelia's back trembled unconsciously. However, Nelly let go of her hand with a bright smile and walked toward Bradley.

"Bradley, you're back. I'm a little bored today, so I came over to have a chat with Miss Xi."

Bradley glanced at Amelia who was as stiff as a statue, then he looked at Nelly and said in a gloomy voice, "Is that so? I'll ask Nick to send you back first. I have something to say to Amelia."

Hearing that, Nelly rolled her eyes slightly. After giving Amelia a malicious look with a straight face, she nodded and left.

After Nelly left, Amelia's body was still very tense. Her face was as pale as the wall, making Bradley feel that she was weak.

Bradley looked at Amelia with solemn eyes as he walked toward her.

"Why is your body so cold? What did Nelly say to you just now?"

After walking to Amelia, Bradley reached out his hand casually and grabbed her hands, then he held her in his arms and asked with worry.

Amelia's body was stimulated by Bradley's embrace. Her face stiffened a little as she said in a hoarse and fearful voice, "Nothing... She... talked about something interesting with me."

"Something interesting? Why don't I know that? Did something interesting happen recently?"

Bradley played with Amelia's long hair leisurely and looked at her as if he didn't understand her words.

Amelia's face was slightly stiff, she felt somewhat nervous because of Bradley's words.

She took a look at Bradley and tried her best to restrain the panic and fear in her heart. She said in a dull voice, "I... don't feel well. I want to go upstairs and have a rest."

"Do you need me to call a doctor for you?" Bradley looked at Amelia with concern and asked blandly.

"No... There's no need. I'm just tired. There's no big problem... with me." Amelia said with difficulty. After saying that, she left in a panic.

Looking at her back, Bradley's eyes darkened all of a sudden.

He clenched his hands into fists, his face was tense and horribly grim.

After Nick told Bradley the information he had investigated, Bradley felt so painful in his heart, as if his heart was punched by someone fiercely.

Bradley had never experienced such a pain before.

"Tyrone... Don't be afraid. I'll take you home right now. I'll take you home immediately."

Late at night, Amelia opened her eyes and looked at Bradley, who was sleeping with her in his arms.

His eyes were closed, and his original handsome facial features looked unusually tender at this moment.

His mouth tightened into a thin line, looking particularly grave.

Amelia looked at his expression with infatuation, she reached out and touched his face lightly. Then she slowly moved down her hand and touched the position of his heart.

Bradley's heart kept beating, and it was beating strongly.

As if Tyrone was telling Amelia that he was still alive.

Tyrone was still alive, and he could came to life soon. Amelia's eyes were full of tears. She lay in Bradley's arms and thought of Bradley's kindness to her, she was ambivalent in her heart.

"Bradley, don't blame me. It's your fault. You took Tyrone's heart. It's all your fault..."

Amelia smiled bitterly, and tears ran down her pale cheeks uncontrollably.

The next day, the atmosphere between Amelia and Bradley seemed to be very strange.

Amelia didn't speak, and Bradley didn't say anything either. The two of them ate with each other in silence.

After eating, Bradley got up and went to work. Amelia just sat in her seat and looked at his back in a daze.

When Bradley walked to the door, he seemed to think of something and turned to look at Amelia.

"Do you want to go to my company to kill time?"

Since Amelia became Bradley's mistress, she hadn't been anywhere. She always stayed in the villa. When she had nothing to do, she would water the flowers and plants, or surf on the Internet.

Bradley was worried that Amelia would get sick if she continued to live a boring life, so he asked Amelia in this way.

Amelia looked at Bradley's face in a daze and said in a faint hoarse voice, "Okay."

Hearing what Amelia said, Bradley's eyes became a little serious.

"Let's go to the company together." Bradley reached out to Amelia and said gently.

"Miss Xi, what did you say to young master? Why did he faint?" The housekeeper looked at Amelia with a cold expression and said angrily.

Amelia's lips trembled. She glanced at the housekeeper and said in horror, "I... didn't say anything. Why does he have a heart attack? He has changed his heart. Why does this happen?"

The housekeeper looked at Amelia with apathy and ignored her. He just asked the servant to take Bradley to the hospital.

Outside the operating room, Amelia clenched her hands into fists. She sat on the bench like a statue and twisted her fingers hard.

Her originally delicate face became extremely haggard and even terrible because of fear and worry.

When Cornell came over, he saw Amelia like this.

Cornell took a look at Amelia and then sat next to her.

Amelia raised her head in a daze and glanced at Cornell, on the verge of tears.

"Tyrone..." She looked at Cornell's face in horror and called out Tyrone's name absent-mindedly.

Hearing that, Cornell was stunned. But soon, he came to sense.

He looked at Amelia meaningfully and said slowly, "Tyrone is the name of your beloved man, right?"

After hearing Cornell's words, Amelia's whole body was trembling. She pinched her palm, looked at Cornell in fear and kept shaking her head.

When Cornell saw the uneasy expression on Amelia's face, he sighed deeply and raised his hand to rub Amelia's hair, saying, "I know that Tyrone died a year ago. The reason why you came here is to look for his heart, right?"

"Amelia, he loves you very much."

Cornell sighed deeply and looked at the operating room.

"I've never seen Bradley love someone so much."

Cornell's words stimulated Amelia's heart, she almost couldn't breathe.

She pinched her palm. Her face was pale and she looked extremely weak.

"Be good to him, okay?"

After Cornell finished speaking, he didn't say anything more.

Amelia's body was tense. She maintained this posture and didn't move a bit.

She stared at the operating room in front of her for a long time.
