A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 516

"Okay." Seeing that Cedric was really tired, Aneirin did not disturb him anymore. He got up and went out with Nacho.

When they walked out of Cedric's room and went downstairs, they saw Alvin playing with the baby in the living room.

Alvin and Mignon sat together. They looked like a couple who were playing with their child. Seeing this, Aneirin smiled teasingly. He turned around, glanced at Nacho and then went downstairs lazily.

"The child is becoming more and more adorable." Aneirin's sudden words startled Mignon. She looked at Nacho who stood behind Aneirin and said lightly, "Yes, thank you for your help last time."

Aneirin shook his head and said, "You don't have to thank me. As I said, we are family. You're treating me as a stranger when you thank me."

Hearing Aneirin's words, Mignon took a meaningful look at Nacho and asked blandly, "What's your friend's name?"

"Oh, his name is OJ, you can call him OJ."

"What?" Mignon looked at Aneirin with her face full of doubts, she felt that this name seemed to be a little casual.

Aneirin chuckled and said, "It's just... an English name. It sounds nice, isn't it? He's not a native."

"Is that so?" Mignon glanced at Nacho meaningfully and said nothing, but when she laughed, the expression on her face was unusually thought-provoking.

"By the way, Mr. Hewlett, when do you plan to marry Mignon?" Aneirin sat on the sofa aside and looked at Alvin with his chin propped up leisurely.

Everyone knew that Alvin loved Mignon. It couldn't be said to be rude for Aneirin to ask this question, but obviously, the atmosphere in the living room became stiff because of Aneirin's words. Except for the baby's babble, no one spoke.

Alvin was afraid that Mignon would be unhappy and showed a faint smile on his reserved face. When he was about to explain, Mignon had already held his hand and said, "Soon."

Hearing this, everyone was stunned. Aneirin opened his mouth wide and looked at Mignon in disbelief. In fact, he was just joking, because he wanted to make Nacho anxious. He didn't expect that Mignon would admit it.

Nacho's eyes were sombre and grim, and he clenched his right hand.

Alvin was very excited. He had been confessing his love to Mignon, but she always refused him because she only loved Nacho in her heart. Did what Mignon said mean that she had already decided to forget Nacho and be with him?

"Mignon..." Alvin opened his mouth slightly. He called Mignon in a low, pleasant and trembling voice.

Mignon took a look at Alvin and said with a faint smile, "It's time for me to forget Nacho. In fact, I should give up, shouldn't I? Nacho has died, but I have been immersed in my world and not willing to admit his death."

While saying this, Mignon glanced at Nacho who was sitting next to Aneirin from the corner of the eye.

"Mignon, I can wait for you. Even if you love Nacho in your heart, I don't mind. No matter how long I have to wait, I won't mind." Alvin looked at Mignon and said in a deep and persistent voice.

Mignon felt guilty in her heart. She felt that she was a bad woman. She actually made use of Alvin who loved her so deeply. "I will surely be punished by god." She thought.

"Alvin." Looking at Alvin, Mignon suddenly didn't want to finish what she wanted to say.

She didn't have the heart to hurt and lie to Alvin, who loved her so much.

"I will always wait for you." Alvin held Mignon's hand with a particularly affectionate expression.

In fact, Alvin was sternly cool and unmoved, but when facing Mignon, he was unusually gentle.

For some reason, Mignon's mood became a little complicated.

Aneirin, who was sitting beside them, smiled and said, "Congratulations! Sorry I need to leave now."

Aneirin felt that he would be killed by Nacho's angry eyes if he kept staying there.

Mignon nodded and watched Aneirin stand up. When she looked at Nacho, she held the child more tightly for no reason. Nacho followed Aneirin with his head lowered. He did not stop, as if what Mignon said to Alvin just now had no effect on him at all.

Mignon bit her lip hard as she looked at Nacho's back. She was stunned and sad.

"Mignon, are you really willing to be with me?" Alvin did not notice Mignon's strange expression. All he thought about was what Mignon said just now. In his heart, the only thing he wanted to do was to tell her that he would be good to her for the rest of his life, so that she could rest assured to become his wife.

"Yes." After coming to sense, Mignon looked back at Alvin's stern face and nodded slowly.

Seeing that Mignon nodded, Alvin was in a so excited mood which couldn't described by words.

He reached out and hugged Mignon's body tightly. He said to her, "Mignon, I'll definitely be good to you."

"Nacho, you're back. The food is cold. I'll heat it up for you."

"We have said that we wouldn't eat here today." Aneirin raised his eyebrows as he glanced at Mia and said.

Mia was so disappointed when she heard that. Like a child who had made a mistake, she grabbed her clothes in low spirit.

Seeing Mia's aggrieved expression, Aneirin had no choice but to say, "Well, forget it, but we've ate our meals."

"Nacho, I made you some chicken soup today. Don't you want to drink some?" Mia looked at Nacho cautiously and asked. Nacho took a look at Mia. Mia's love for him was so obvious. If he did not know that Mia loved him, he would be too stupid.

He shook his head and said with an indifferent face, "No, I'm full. Let the servants eat the food."

"The food can be eaten by the servants. Then... what about the chicken soup? Nacho, I cooked it for you in person. Don't you want to drink it?"

Nacho's words made Mia's heart tremble. She looked at Nacho pitifully and said in a low voice.

Nacho looked at Mia with a straight face and said expressionlessly, "Mia, as I said, I don't want to drink it."

"Nacho, did I do something wrong that make you angry?"

Mia didn't even know why Nacho was so unhappy with her.

In the past, even if Nacho was cold to her, he would never treat her with such an apathetic attitude. Looking at Nacho's poker face, Mia almost burst into tears.

Nacho's footsteps paused slightly.

He turned around and looked at Mia whose eyes were full of tears.

"Mia, don't put your heart on me, because you will get hurt."

"I'm not afraid of getting hurt. Just like you. Nacho, you promised my grandfather that you would take care of me for the rest of your life. You can't abandon me like this." Mia looked weak, but she was very stubborn. She stepped forward, held Nacho's body tightly, and said to him persistently.
