She clenched her fists, took a deep breath, then said as if she had made up her mind, "I see. I'll go to the hospital later."
"I hope Cedric and you can be happy together. It's time to forget your hatred."
Forget the hatred?
How difficult it was!
Joanna wanted to forget the hatred for many times, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't.
She could not forgive Cedric for what he had done to her, nor could she forgive the fact that Cedric had caused Arvin's death.
"Prepare some chicken soup. I'll bring it to Cedric."
Joanna put the phone aside, got up and said to the housekeeper.
Upon hearing this, the housekeeper showed a smile.
"Are you going to the hospital to see young master? I'm going to prepare right now."
Ten minutes later, Joanna took the lunch box, got into the car, and went to the hospital.
On the way, Joanna looked out of the window. The shadows of the trees on the roadside fell on her face, making her look extremely gloomy.
Joanna felt that her body and soul were slowly degenerating. She didn't want to forgive Cedric but she couldn't control herself. This kind of feeling almost drove her crazy.
She clenched her fists.
She took a deep breath, looked out of the window and pursed her lips.
"We've arrived." The driver stopped the car in the hospital, turned back and said to Joanna who was in a trance.
"Okay, thank you." Joanna came back to earth, composed her emotions and got out of the car.
She looked at the lunch box in her hand, and though of how Cedric saved her again and again. She felt so painful.
Joanna suppressed the indescribable emotion in her heart and told herself not to forget how Arvin died.
Joanna, you definitely could't forget Arvin's death.
After controlling her emotions, Joanna walked through the hospital hall with the lunch box and headed for the elevator.
But after two steps, she saw a familiar face and the lunch box in her hand instantly fell to the ground.
Arvin? That man was Arvin!
Arvin didn't die? Arvin...
"Arvin..." Joanna rushed to the man who was walking to the stairs. Tears kept running down her face, which made her face looked paler. She grabbed the man's hand, the moment the man turned his head, Joanna burst into tears.
"Arvin, are you still alive? Arvin... I'm sorry..." Joanna held the man tightly out of control and cried out Was Arvin still alive? She could even feel his breathing. Had Arvin been playing hide- and- seek with her? Arvin was not dead!
Joanna burst into tears.
"Joanna, what are you doing?"
Earl looked at Joanna who was hugging him with tears and sneered. When they were hugging each other intimately, Cedric appeared.
Cedric received a call from his assistant who said that Joanna was on her way to see him. He was very excited and came down to find Joanna without caring about his injury.
Aneirin Situ had no choice but to push Cedric downstairs with a wheelchair. Unexpectedly, when they came out of the elevator, they saw Joanna holding a strange man. The two of them were hugging each other extremely tightly. Seeing this, Aneirin was worried.
Just as Joanna was very excited, Cedric's gloomy voice sounded. Then Joanna let go of Earl and said with red eyes, "Cedric, this is Arvin. Arvin didn't die..."
Only then did Cedric and Aneirin find that the man in front of them looked really the same as Arvin. However, the man's hair color was different from Arvin's. Arvin's hair was pure black, and this man's hair was of chestnut colour.
Although this man looked like Arvin, Cedric could tell at first glance that he was not Arvin, because his temperament was completely different from Arvin's. Earl gave people a very sharp and malicious feeling, which was completely different from Arvin's gentleness.
"Who are you?"
Cedric narrowed his eyes and stared at Earl with his face darkened.
Earl smiled and said indifferently, "My name is Angelo Brook."
"Aren't... you Arvin?"
Earl said a completely unfamiliar name, which made Joanna a little confused.
"Sorry, may I ask if Arvin is your friend? Does he look like me?" Earl looked at Joanna, reached out her hand, and said gently.
"Cedric, your injury hasn't recovered yet. Don't be so excited."
Seeing how excited Cedric was, Aneirin was so worried that he broke out in a cold sweat.
Cedric's chest was seriously injured. Because he had been making trouble, he didn't receive any treatment. At first, Aneirin thought Cedric would receive treatment obediently because Joanna came to see him, but he didn't except such a thing would happen.
"Get out!" Cedric turned around and roared at Aneirin coldy.
"Cedric, do you want to die? Go back to the ward with Aneirin immediately!" Joanna, who had not spoken for a long time, roared at Cedric when she saw the blood on his chest.
Cedric grabbed Joanna's wrist tightly and pinched her hard. Joanna could even hear the creaking sound of her bone.
Joanna's lips turned pale, and there was cold sweat on her forehead.
"Master." Paul had already driven the car to the gate of the hospital. When he saw that Joanna and Cedric were looking at each other, his face darkened. After glancing Paul coldly, Cedric pulled Joanna to get in the car.
"Cedric..." Joanna got angry because of Cedric's tough attitude, but she couldn't get rid of Cedric's control.
Cedric tended to go to extremes. No one in this world could stop him from doing what he wanted to do.
Seeing that Cedric left the hospital with Joanna, Aneirin was so angry that his whole face darkened.
Why Cedric was disobedient? If anything bad happened to Cedric, not only Stewart would punish him ruthlessly, but also Nacho wouldn't let him go easily.
Aneirin immediately took out his phone and called Nacho. Nacho was feeding Abigail at home. After he received Aneirin's call and knew that Cedric left the hospital on his own, her face instantly became unhappy.
"Nacho?" Abigail was scared by Nacho's expression at this moment. She shrank her neck in fear and called Nacho's name pitifully.
Nacho clenched his fists. He said with his face darkened, "Okay, I know. Get all the medical equipment ready and go to Bayview with me."
Bayview was one of the properties of the Xis. Cedric bought a villa there, and they went there to play occasionally.
"Cedric tends to go to extremes. When he saw Joanna holding a man who looks like Arvin, he became so jealous. His wound has been torn apart. If he still refuse to receive treatment, the wound will be inflamed... So Nacho, please persuade him."
Aneirin said to Nacho with a headache.
"I see." Nacho hung up the phone with an unusually calm expression. Abigail anxiously pulled Nacho's clothes. She said with her mouth puckered, "Nacho, is Cedric disobedient?"
