A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 32

"It has been snowing all night. I looked at the snowflakes and couldn't sleep."

I opened my eyes slightly and said to William.

William did not say a word, but just smiled and said, "Wait for a good night's sleep on the plane."

"Okay." I nodded and closed my eyes.

William drove very robustly, and there was music in the car. I could not help but relax and fell asleep again.

It wasn't until I was on the plane that I rubbed my eyes and woke up. And I was amazed that William was holding me in his arm.

"You're awake. Are you hungry?"

William bowed his head, I could feel his warm breath near my cheek.

I couldn't help wincing slightly.

"William, let go of me." I was hot all over and pushed William's body uneasily.

When did I get carried onto the plane by William? I didn't know.

"Are you shy?" William looked at me teasingly, but he let go of my hand thoughtfully.

I sat down on my seat and covered my face with my hand. I didn't dare to speak anymore.

My face is so hot at the moment, and my heart beats like thunder, I can't say a word.

"This is the milk that I asked the air hostess to heat for you. You'd better drink some hot milk now." William looked at me gently and put a steaming glass of milk in front of me.

I glanced at William with gratefulness, stroked my stomach, and drank the glass of milk in one go.

My stomach suddenly felt hot.

William and I casually discussed this design competition. During the period I was a little uncomfortable and went to the toilet.

When I walked near the toilet, I met a pair of deep and obscure eyes.

Edward?

I took a deep breath and looked at Edward who was sitting not far away.

Edward slowly raised his head, and anger appeared on his reserved and indifferent face. When he looked at me with his cold eyes, there seemed to be a horrible rage.

I didn't know why Edward was on this plane?

He looked at me for a long time before slowly looking away. The cold profile makes me feel dazed.

What was Edward's gaze just now?

I touched the back of my head and felt puzzled.

After I came out of the bathroom, I couldn't help looking at Edward's position again, only to find that he was no longer in that position. I adjusted my strange and lost mood and returned to my place.

"What's wrong? Your voice sounds strange." William sensed the strangeness in my tone and could not help asking.

I looked at William reluctantly and slowly shook my head: "It's okay."

I didn't tell William that I saw Edward on the plane just now.

Wasn't Edward supposed to be in Peking? Why was he on the plane?"

With this doubt, I never fell asleep.

At 12:50 a.m., the plane landed at the airport in Paris.

William took care of me carefully along the way until we walked out of the airport. There was a car outside the airport that took us to the hotel.

After arriving at the hotel, William took my hand directly to the suite we booked.

He opened the door and said to me: "Take a good rest. I will come to you for dinner."

"Okay." I am actually very grateful to William's thoughtfulness, and he always does not cause me any troubles, giving me a very warm embrace and harbor.

After watching William leave, I wanted to close the door. I didn't expect that two hands pressed on the door at this time.

I lifted up my head in shock. When I saw a pair of tumbling cold eyes, I couldn't help but shudder. "Edward, what are you doing?" How could Edward appear in this hotel? Isn't he always following me and William?

"Ashley, I said, don't get close to William." Edward grabbed my arm and growled at me in an extremely cold and bloodthirsty voice.

"Why should I listen to you? Who do you think you are?" I couldn't help but frown. I slapped off his arm and said to him with a cold face.

I hated that Edward always appeared in front of me and interfered with my affairs. We had already divorced. Why should he interfere with who I was with?

"Why? It's this." Edward raised my chin, lowered his head, kissed my lip, and stopped everything I wanted to say.

I widened my eyes and looked at the handsome and noble face in front of me, and couldn't help making a faint whimper.

B*stard Edward, did he know what he was doing?

I was dumbfounded looking at Edward who said such shameless words, but his expression was serious.

I began to suspect that the man in front of me was not the Edward I had known.

It must be!

He used to treat me indifferently. After divorce, he started to follow me shamelessly?

Is it true that the sentence: The best is what you can't have? Are all men are b*tchy?

"I don't have a place for you," I said unhappily with a cold face.

"Then I will barely sleep on the sofa." Edward looked at me and sorted out his clothes, casually.

When I heard it, the corner of my mouth snapped and said, "Edward, what exactly do you want?"

Did he do it on purpose?

Edward glanced at me fiercely, and then slowly said: "You leave Time Group."

"Why should I leave? As I said, it's none of your business." I roared at Edward angrily.

"Ashley, after divorcing me, your temper is getting worse." Edward seemed very dissatisfied with my attitude, squinting and staring at me.

"Mr. Xi also knows that we have divorced. So, please leave here immediately." I suppressed my violent temper and said impatiently to Edward.

Edward closed his eyes and ignored me as if he didn't hear me.

I was so angry that my lungs were going to explode.

I left the living room angrily and walked directly into the bedroom, slamming the door without looking at Edward in the living room.

I sat on the bed and touched my lips. It seems that there is still an overbearing breath of Edward. I patted my face and forced myself to calm down. Don't be fooled by Edward.

The reason why Edward would do this might be that he was worried that I would not keep my words and announce what Betty had done.

He had done so much for Betty.

I touched my belly and struggled to pull the corner of my mouth.

"Some work needs to be dealt with in France."

"Well, I know. You take care of yourself. After dealing with it, I will go back. Don't worry about me."
