A Unique Bodyguard: The Drop Dead Gorgeous CEO Fell for Me novel Chapter 5

Jasper followed Rebecca to the parking lot downstairs. Rebecca walked to a Porsche, took out a key, and pressed a button. And then, she opened the car door and sat inside. But just as she was about to close the door, Jasper reached out his hand to stop her.

"What are you doing?" Rebecca looked at Jasper angrily.

"Get out and sit in the back," Jasper said calmly without beating around the bush.

"Why? This is my car." Rebecca said furiously to Jasper.

"It is my job. Please cooperate with me. If you don't, I will take you to the back by force. There are many people here. I don't want to embarrass you in front of them, and I don't think you want that to happen, either." Jasper looked at Rebecca and said.

Rebecca knew that Jasper was an inflexible man, and he would really do it if he had said it. So she could only get out of the car and go to sit in the back seat.

Jasper started the car after fastening his seat belt. He asked Rebecca while driving the car out, "Where are you going now?"

Rebecca said directly, "No. 156 Sunset Road."

Jasper did not say another word and drove straight to the destination.

"Do you have other clothes? Can you change your clothes? You should pay attention to your image, even though you are just a bodyguard. You are my bodyguard, not a security guard." Rebecca frowned as she looked at Jasper, who was following her into the company.

Jasper also looked at his clothes and nodded, "I see. I'll go home and change my clothes after work."

"Forget it. You don't look like you have any decent clothes." Rebecca said after she looked at Jasper up and down. And then she went straight to the elevator.

The elevator stopped on the fifteenth floor. Jasper followed Rebecca out and saw a hall with a sign that read "The SY Group Royal Catering Service Co., Ltd."

When Rebecca pushed open the General Manager's Office door and walked in, she was shocked and wondered if she had entered the wrong room. She looked around again to make sure it was really her office. And then, she shouted to the secretary who was putting files in order inside, "Emilia, what happened to my office?"

Rebecca asked Emilia while pointing at a new desk, a new water dispenser, and other things in the reception room outside her office.

"Miss Rebecca, haven't you heard of it?" Emilia looked at Rebecca with an odd look on her face.

"Heard of what? What don't I know? Whose idea is this? I need an explanation." Rebecca asked in a huff.

"Miss Rebecca, we got a call from the President's Office just now. Your father asked the Logistics Department to set up an office outside your office for the new Assistant to the General Manager." Emilia asked carefully.

Jasper did not push the door open and entered the office before he heard Rebecca's reply. Inside, Rebecca was reading a document in her hands. She asked when she saw Jasper, "What's the matter?"

"I want to ask for a leave. I want to fetch something at home." Jasper said in a flat voice.

Rebecca looked up at Jasper and said, "Do whatever you want. But I'll just stress one thing. Since my father has given you the title of Assistant to the General Manager, you must obey the rules and regulations of the company from now on. You must not come to work late and leave early for no reason, and you must not wander around the company."

Jasper nodded and went out.

As soon as Jasper got out, he saw Emilia carrying a suit.

Emilia smiled and said to Jasper, "Mr. Jasper, try this on to see if it fits you. If it doesn't, I'll go to exchange it."

"Thank you. Sorry for the trouble. How much is it in total?" Jasper asked.

Emilia handed Jasper the receipt, "About twelve thousand. Here's the receipt. Take a look."

"That's fine. You could give it to Miss Rebecca. Give the suit to me. I'll take it back and put it on." Jasper frowned and took the clothes from Emilia's hands before leaving the company.
