A Second Chance at Forever (Eleanor and Bernard) novel Chapter 196

Bernard walked up to them and coldly asked after looking at them, "Where is she?"

This was Hailey's second time seeing Bernard, the first time was when he personally picked up Eleanor.

At that time, he sat in the car and didn't get off. Hailey only saw his side face.

She thought he was just good looking then.

Now standing face to face with him, Hailey was somewhat shocked and scared.

It wasn't because of his looks, but the powerful aura emanating from him.

Seeing Bernard finally showed up, Jason couldn't help but sneer, "You want to see her?"

He pointed to the tomb behind him. "There she is."

Bernard looked in the direction Jason was pointing and paled when he saw the picture on the tombstone.

His haughty eyes filled with disbelief, "Impossible!"

After saying that, Bernard coldly ordered Aidyn, "Dig her up!"

He didn't believe Eleanor was lying inside. He had to expose their lies!

Aidyn waved at a few bodyguards, and they stepped forward immediately.

Seeing this, Hailey hurriedly rushed over to block them, while Jason grabbed Bernard's collar, "Bernard! She's dead! What else do you want to do?!!"

Hearing the word 'dead' again and again, it felt like a knife stabbed in Bernard's heart, scraping it each time and causing a sharp pain.

Bernard sneered, "You don't dare to let me see her because she isn't dead!"

Jason felt like he heard a joke, his face was pale and full of mockery.

He walked step by step to Bernard, speaking the most piercing words in the gentlest voice, "What's lying inside is nothing but some ashes. Even if you open the coffin, you won't see her because...I personally cremated her."

Watching Bernard's eyes gradually turn red, Jason felt much better.

The Eleanor he cherished in his heart wanted to see this man one last time before her life was in danger, but he didn't even answer her call.

What was more infuriating was that he let another woman hurt his beloved Eleanor, causing her to die with regrets!

Of course he hated Bernard to the bone!
