A Mate For The Last Lycan novel Chapter 274

Chapter 274: I DIDN’T MEAN TO HURT YOU

They also told her that Khaos would never come to save her. She was nothing for the lycan and would be nothing like she used to be.

And not only them, but all of the twenty six warriors that she had killed before, were there too. Their gaze fix on her. Their gaze filled with accusation, anger, resentment, and rage for the way Zury had killed them all.

’I have a child and I can’t see him again because of you.’

’I just found my mate, but you took the happiness of my life away because you killed me.’

’I planned to be with my family after all the war is over, since I have not seen them for a year, but now I will never have a chance to see them again, because you couldn’t control your craziness.’

Zuri glared at them all, she hissed and if she could, she would kill them all over again, so they would stop bothering her.

"You are all so fucking weak! That’s why you are dead! You deserve to die!"

Zuri didn’t even know what she was talking about. She simply wanted these voices in her head to stop, she didn’t want to be mocked anymore, and more importantly, she wanted her drugs right now!

"KHAOS! WHERE ARE YOU LYCAN! COME HERE RIGHT NOW YOU FUCKING LYCAN!"

Zuri kicked the door until her feet hurt, but there was no one in the hallway. There was no more warrior around her.

Khaos went away three hours ago because he needed to do some things. And after that, Zuri started to trash everything that she could reach. She broke everything inside this room.

Actually, her addiction to the drug became even worse. Her withdrawal was very harsh and as time went by the period was shortened.

Before, she would only need her drug once a day but then it turned into twice a day and after two months it become six a day and then ten. And right now, she couldn’t even go without it for more than two hours, she would need to get high all the time and this was so fucking torture for her. She hated it.

Zuri then grabbed an ornament plate with the emblem of the lycan’s insignia, she threw it against the mirror as it shattered into pieces. Zuri screamed even more when she felt the pain, as the sharp shard grazed her skin.

However, when she looked down, she saw her own blood was on the floor. She crouched down and stared at it for a while, as if she was fascinated, transfixed.

She knew that she liked this color. She knew that she liked the feeling of this sticky liquid, when she touched it, it felt warm. It felt alive. And then with her forefinger, she touched her own blood on the floor and licked it.

Closing her eyes and smile.

The punch was harsh, but it was not enough to make Khaos even took a step back or even let out a groan.

However, when Zuri tried the second time, Khaos didn’t allow it. He actually dodged the attack and then grabbed her hand.

"Come here, you really need the drug."

Khaos took Zuri to the only space in that room that was still clean and had not been destroyed by Zuri. He lit up a candle and then pulled out a packet of the drug, he burned it slowly.

The white smoke swirled in the air and Zuri breathed on it greedily, as if she didn’t want the air in this room escaped her. She leaned her body over and almost burned her own nose if it was not for Khaos who pulled her back.

"Easy, Zuri. Or you will hurt yourself."

However, Zuri swatted his hand away and closed her eyes to enjoy the sensation. She could feel the voices in her head slowly decreased.

She liked it. She liked this quietness.

Closing her eyes, Zuri said quietly. "I am sorry for hitting you. I didn’t mean to hurt you."
