A Mate For The Last Lycan novel Chapter 265

Chapter 265: ALL OF YOU BETRAYED ME

Gayle finally was done to keep quiet and he voiced out what he was thinking. "You are going to lose their loyalty, Khaos. You are going to lose everything if you keep letting Zuri to do this."

However, just like usual, Khaos didn’t engage with this conversation. He kept staring at the report in his hand. They were in his study room right now with the rain kept pouring down out there.

Because Khaos didn’t engage in the conversation, he changed the topic into something else. "Caiden has been waiting for your permission to leave the pack. It has been four months... I think you need to meet him."

Gayle waited, but Khaos acted as if he was not there. The gamma stared at the report and it was about the Great Lunar kingdom.

And somehow, while Gayle knew this conversation wouldn’t go well, this was what Khaos should have done long time ago, yet after they witnessed the change in Khaos, no one was dare enough to bring up the topic.

Without Bryden and Ezra, all of them didn’t have someone, who could talk Khaos down.

"When are you planning to take Great Lunar Kingdom? You have been postponing the idea for too long. We have not yet moved at all for the last few months and they warriors have in armistice with their warriors."

"Soon."

Gayle looked around him. This room was very dark and there was still a trace of the scent of drugs inside, which meant Zuri had been using drugs in this room very often, where the residual of its smell still lingered in the air.

"What is your plan?"

Khaos look at Gayle. And he spoke something that the gamma didn’t even expect at all.

"I am going to meet with Sir Bairone tonight."

"Tonight? How?" Gayle was dumbfounded. He didn’t know that Khaos had been in contact with Sir Bairone all this time. How? How he managed to do that? How he could do it.

But then, Gayle remembered Khaos could travel in such a long distance within only a few seconds, space and time was not a problem for him, he could cover a long distance with his new power, which was impressive of him.

However, somehow Gayle dreaded that kind of power. No wonder there were so many people who wanted the completion of the beauty blood. It was unreal. It was indeed very, very disturbing.

On the other hand, Khaos didn’t explain himself, he simply stated that and then focus on what he was doing.

Later that night they really met with Sir Bairone. Apparently, Khaos has been had been in contact with him for several weeks and Gayle didn’t know about it at all.

However, there was another disturbing fact about it. Khaos didn’t meet with him to talk about Great Lunar Kingdom’s submission or the term of their surrender, but actually he was there to talk about the drug.

Khaos wanted the drug to be delivered to him for a long period of time and as the exchange for that Khaos would leave Great Lunar Kingdom alone, he wouldn’t get into their business.

"I don’t care about the goal. I get the ultimate power of the lycan, just like how all of you wanted it, I am not going to do anything more than this."

Gayle was flabbergasted. "Khaos, you make all the warriors restless, they are anxious with your decision. We are here to support you. You will lose their loyalty if you kept giving your attention only to Zuri."

"Then maybe she is right, I need to kill them all, since they are giving me a headache."

"Khaos!" Gayle raised his voice. "You are not serious about it, right?!"

Khaos didn’t even show any emotion when spoke in a matter of fact tone. "I almost lost my mate because of this revenge to the people that I don’t even know, to the parents that I had never met and for the Kingdom that I supposed to inherit. You did everything in your power to make me completed this beauty blood."

"Because that’s our goal."

"Even when you have to deny my order, my direct order." Khaos’s voice turned darker. "I gave you the other solution, yet all of you forsake my word."

Khaos gave them Giana, so they could stop breathing down his neck and bothered Zuri, yet they ignored his order and that was not the first time...

"It’s not like that..." Gayle couldn’t find the right words to say.
