A Mate For The Last Lycan novel Chapter 251

Chapter 251: A FUCK OFF FOR KHAOS

Khaos ignored Caiden’s question, as he told him to go back to Greywolf pack and stay there.

"Don’t leave the pack no matter what."

"But, why?" Caiden couldn’t understand with this order.

"This is a direct order."

Caiden opened his mouth and closed it again, but he couldn’t find the right word, yet when Khaos turned around and was about to leave, Caiden immediately stopped him again.

"Why?" Caiden’s expression looked serious. He was dying to know about the reason behind it. "I am just arrived, but why I have to go to Greywolf pack? It’s a few days from here."

If the situation was different, he wouldn’t argue with Khaos. He would love to spend his time in his pack, but he could sense something was wrong.

Caiden looked at Khaos with bewilderment. "What? What happened with Zury? Something happened with her?" If this lycan acted strangely at time like this, his only conclusion was something happened to Zuri, despite he couldn’t understand how it related.

Instead of answering his question, Khaos look at him. He asked one of the Warriors to take away Declan, so he could talk with only Caiden.

"Who are you loyal to?"

"What?" Caiden was taken aback with this sudden question.

"Do I have your loyalty?"

Caiden blinked his eyes, he couldn’t understand why he was being asked about this question. Therefore, his answer was very obvious.

"Of course, I am loyal to you. What’s going on?" He asked even more confused.

"Are you sure your loyalty is with me?"

"Khaos, I don’t understand what are you trying to talk about, because my loyalty is always with you. If you are talking about the past, I am sorry, that was a mistake, a terrible one. I know how wrong I was. But my loyalty is always with you, you know that."

"Good, then I want to see whether that’s true or not. Stay in the Greywolf pack and stay there until I said otherwise. If you leave, then I know your loyalty is bullshit."

"What?" Caiden scrunched his brows. The confusion was killing him.

However, Khaos didn’t offer him another explanation. He turned around and walk away. "Leave. No more question."

And with that, Khaos left.

Caiden knew the situation was not right, it was getting serious, but why would Khaos send him away instead of letting him to help? And why it had anything to do with his loyalty? He should know that he was very loyal to him.

It would take a long time with only the ten of them, but it would be done before the sunrise the next day.

However, because of the poison Lorent had given to Zuri, it would be another problem. That was why they needed to snatch whatever drug Lorent had with him.

Or, so what Lorent thought when he saw they were ready to attack him.

"You are not going to get the drug!" Lorent snarled at them, as if he could read their mind and was very sure with their intention.

In Lorent eyes, it was not very hard to tell since they were not very secretive with the way they moved.

The only problem here was; no matter how strong Lorent, it would be ten against one and he wouldn’t be able to stand up against them all, especially if he had to protect Zuri in the process.

Therefore, he attempted to run away. He knew the consequences would be the death of Zuri, but then she was beyond help.

No one could help her anymore. Not only the curse, but the drug had screwed her. Even if Khaos managed to get her, she would be another Giana.

That would be a ’fuck off’ from him for Khaos.

Lorent gave one glance before he shifted into his beasts and tried to escape the magic users. If he had to, he would swallow the remaining drug, so they wouldn’t be able to save Zuri.
