"I heard that you're with Feena now. Is that true?" Phoebe asked in her next message.

A considerable amount of time had passed before Phoebe finally sent the message to Jack. He suspected that she had actually fought with herself as to whether she was going to send it at all.

After all, Phoebe had always been an indifferent person who didn't seem to be concerned with what was going on in the world. She definitely wasn't the type to engage in gossip.

It wasn't a big deal that Phoebe knew about him being with Feena. They were often together, and Wesley had been the first one to find out about them. There was no way that Wesley, with his big mouth, would be able to keep such an earth-shattering revelation a secret for long.

Jack had no plans to hide the truth from Phoebe. His fingers flew across the screen as he typed out a reply. "That's right. I've been with Feena for quite some time now."

A whole 10 seconds passed before Phoebe's next message appeared. "Then… I have to congratulate you! Who's to say that the two of you won't get married in the future? Did you know? After I found out about you and Feena being a couple, all I could think about was the scene of you confessing your love to her by the river."

"You remember that?"

"Of course, I do! I often wondered why Feena would reject you since you're such a great guy. I even thought that Feena must have made an error in judgment. She's such an intelligent person, after all. Who knew that the two of you would eventually get together."
