That night, as soon as they got home, Logan dashed to his room and dialed R7CKY's number.

"Dude, dude!" Matilda exclaimed with excitement, "I heard Hadrian just got busted out by us."

"Great to hear that."

R7CKY, as usual, was busy shelling peanuts for Ventus, glancing at his phone screen, "You've grown taller."

Logan looked down at his feet, "Really? How can you tell?"

"Seen it through the screen."

Logan jumped, "I thought I'd definitely end up taller than Yvan!"

Ventus, munching on the peanuts R7CKY had shelled, seemed unfazed by the global manhunt for them. Tucked away in a corner of Whty City, they were cracking peanuts as if they were part of an old-timers' club enjoying their twilight years.

"Master... do you guys have a squad of seven?" Logan asked R7CKY.

"Why bring that up all of a sudden?"

"My dad told me." Logan lowered his voice, "The Seven Deadly Sins?"

R7CKY's expression turned serious, "You shouldn't delve too deep into that territory. Knowing too much could be dangerous."

"But I'm your apprentice," Logan pleaded, looking at R7CKY through the screen, "Please tell me, or I'll feel like I'm in danger, unable to sleep at night..."

R7CKY chuckled, "Oh, look at you, trying to sweet-talk me?"

Ventus openly admitted, "Yes, we're one of the Seven Deadly Sins."

Hearing this, Logan felt like he was in the midst of an international spy thriller. Wind Deity and Jungle Union were at odds, though never openly, and the Seven Deadly Sins were caught as innocent scapegoats in between.

"Some haven't shown their faces, but we're on good terms with the ones we know."

R7CKY pointed at Ventus, "His codename is 'Wrath'."

Ventus looked up at Logan, his expression as cold as an iceberg, making Logan frown, "How come Ventus is Wrath?"

"You'll understand in time." R7CKY teased, then continued, "As for me, I am 'Pride,' the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins."

"Pride." Logan pronounced the English word fluently, earning praise from R7CKY, "Smart. We have a good friend in Jungle Union, ranked third as 'Sloth,' but we haven't heard from him lately, kinda strange."

Logan stared at the screen, "Who else do you know?"
