Pretending to be coy, Godfrey quipped, "So, will you take me home with you? I'll take care of you every day."

"Deal! Deal!" Chloe playfully tossed a tomato at him from the coffee table, "Consider it gold and silk as your reward!"

Caught by surprise and struggling to breathe under her grip, Godfrey coughed out, "Wait… I… I'm actually a guest chef there…"

"Why on earth would a boss like you choose to be a chef instead?" she wondered, bemused.

That night, Matilda stumbled upon a new piece of code, versatile in every formula, akin to a popular lipstick shade among women. Logan had recently changed schools and was adjusting to his new life, already asleep by then. She input this code into her computer.

The code traveled via internet signals to a signal tower in the Arctic, crossed the Atlantic through the digital network, spanning the globe only to return to Matilda's computer. Following the instructions of her code, she managed to turn on a wall light.
