Isabella must haye been having a blast with Raven and the others over the weekend, because she hadn’t heard from Freya at all. By Monday, Freya went to work at Cole as usual.
It was almost time to get off work when Jessica called and invited her to dinner. After they finished eating, Freya went to the bathroom.
That’s when she ran into Harry.
Freya didn’t stop her steps and walked past him without acknowledging him.
Harry, however, stopped in his tracks and turned his head to watch her.
Freya noticed but didn’t pay him any attention.
When Freya came out of the bathroom, she saw that Harry hadn’t left, still standing at the spot where they had just crossed paths.
When he saw her come out, he turned his head toward her and asked, “Are you eating over here?”
His tone made it seem like he had been waiting specifically for her.
“Yes,” she answered curtly. “Do you think I’m stalking you, Mr. Becker?”
Harry paused for a moment before replying, “That’s not what I meant.”
Freya didn’t understand what he meant and didn’t want to understand either. Without another word, she turned and left, and Harry didn’t try to stop her.
After leaving the restaurant, Jessica wanted to buy a birthday gift for her mother, so Freya went with her to a jewelry store.
Jessica was drawn to a set of jade necklaces. She had just chatted briefly with the store manager when someone’s voice suddenly came from the door: “Hello, I’m here to pick up the jewelry.”
Freya paused upon hearing the voice.
“Ah, Mr. Brown,” the store manager greeted him immediately, smiling. He apologized to Freya and
Jessica, then walked toward him. “Mr. Brown, the jewelry you customized is all packed up for you-”

Chapter 70
“Mag?” Logan Brown walked up to Freya after confirming her identity. “Are you here to order jewelry as well?”
Freya glanced at him but didn’t speak.
Seeing her indifferent attitude, Logan’s expression dimmed. “Mag…”
Freya turned her face away, ignoring him. She then asked Jessica, “Are you sure you want to choose
this one?”
Jessica, who hadn’t seen Logan before, observed his refined and gentlemanly appearance. She nudged Freya’s waist lightly and whispered, “Who is that?”
Freya didn’t respond.
But Logan didn’t leave. He stood there, staring at Freya, and asked, “Mag, how have you been
recently?”
Freya bit her lip and finally turned to face him. Her voice was cold when she asked, “What do you
want to say?”
Logan’s face darkened. “Mag! When did you become so extreme?”
