Chapter 264
There were other people in the interview room.
Some of them stifled their laughter.
Treya calmly responded, “No comment.”
Then she added. “Your interview is over. You can leave now.”
Seeing her get up to leave, Glen assumed he had been accepted and followed her, saying, “I can start working right now. I won’t need a salary.”
Freya didn’t respond, simply pushing open the door and walking out.
In the afternoon, Johnny returned and asked, “Did you find anyone suitable in the interview today?”
“Two of them are quite good,” she replied, handing over the resumes.
Johnny looked through them. When he saw Glen’s, he paused. “Is it him?”
Freya looked up. “You know him?”
“I do,” Johnny said. “He’s the pampered son of the White family. I heard he was studying finance at first, but two years ago, out of nowhere, he switched majors, which upset his family. After all, they have a lot of businesses waiting for him to take over.”
He continued, “I heard a few days ago that he ran away from home, and his family’s been looking for him. I didn’t expect him to sneak back here.”
Freya:
Johnny gave the resumes a second look. “So, how’s his ability?”
“Pretty good. He’s only been in the field for less than two years, but his ability already surpasses most PhD students,” Freya said.
“Oh? That’s impressive,” Johnny said. “Are you planning to keep him?”
“I’m considering it, but…”
“Are you worried he’ll leave after a few days?”
“Yes.”
Although it was clear that Glen was very interested in CUAP and Infinite–CM, there were other factors making him unstable.
“Well, we can give him a trial period. If he’s not suitable, we can let him go,” Johnny said.
“Alright,” Freya agreed.
Meanwhile, Glen, with his handsome features, broad shoulders, long legs, and superior aura, had already drawn a lot of attention when he walked into the gaming center.
Many young girls wanted to approach him, but Glen’s thin lips were pressed tightly together, and he exuded an air of “stay away from me.” The girls hesitated and didn’t dare approach.
After some time, Glen’s phone rang.
He answered it, and the person on the other end quickly asked, “How did the interview go? Did you manage to charm Freya? She won’t actuall believe you fell for her at first sight, will she? Hahaha!!”
“You should use some tricks and make her fall for you completely–then dump her to humiliate her.”

Glen didn’t show much expression. Before he could speak, he saw Raven walking into the gaming center
Seeing her, he ended the call, saying, “I’ll talk to you later.”
“Finally found you.” Raven said, walking up to him. “Yon disappeared without a word, and you really scared everyone, thinking something happe to you. You’re really…”
The words “out of line” were almost on her lips, but when she saw his silent, rebellious expression, she decided against it.
“I know why you came back here. If it’s for Cole’s technology, I fully support it.
But as for what they said about you trying to teach Freya a lesson by making her fall for you and then cruelly dumping her, I don’t support that. I have my issues with her, but I don’t want you to get involved.”
Glen looked at her but didn’t speak. He didn’t even ask how she found him.
Raven noticed him staring at her for a while. She raised a hand to touch her face, laughing, “Is there something on my face?”
Glen shook his head, pulling back his gaze. “It’s nothing.”
Raven: “About what I just said…”
“I’m leaving,” Glen cut her off, then turned and walked away.
“Glen, don’t do anything rash!” Raven called after him.
But Glen didn’t respond. He continued walking, heading for the elevator.
