If she were to openly confront the Brown family, Matteo and Harry would likely use this to attack her in order to protect Raven.
Besides, she had already witnessed the Green family’s ability to turn the tables.
After all, her mother still couldn’t leave the rehabilitation center.
After chatting for a while, when Freya turned her head, she realized that Matteo and the others had stopped playing chess.
It was getting late, so they went to find Old Madam Miller.
Old Madam Miller had just finished talking about the paintings with Elder Hall.
Elder Hall had another friend coming over, so he went to greet him.
Old Madam Miller didn’t want to continue disturbing Elder Hall, so when she saw Freya, she decided to leave.
When they learned they were leaving, Elder Hall specifically came out to give Old Madam Miller a painting of the Pine Mountain that she loved.
After some pleasantries, Freya and the others left.
Before leaving, they saw Matteo and Raven sitting in the pavilion, chatting and drinking tea.
Matteo and Raven noticed them.
Matteo glanced at Freya but quickly turned his gaze back, continuing his conversation with Harry and Levi.
Raven saw this and smiled, then turned her gaze away.
Harry nodded towards Freya and them.
Freya and Johnny nodded back and left without turning around.
The next day.
Freya and Johnny went to work at Cole as usual.
The company’s latest projects were gradually starting to be implemented, and there was a lot to do, so they quickly became fully immersed in their work.
The next few days were extremely busy.
One day, Freya received several apples from people at the company.
Freya was surprised and asked, “Is Christmas already here? That fast?”
“Yes,” a colleague stretched and said, “The festive atmosphere outside is quite strong. I plan to go out with friends after work and enjoy the holiday. What about you? Any plans?”
Freya smiled and shook her head, putting the apples down and continuing with her work.
After work, she remembered that one of the flowers at home was wilting, so she decided to buy a new one.
At the mall, she found that, as her colleague had said, the pedestrian street was decorated with Christmas trees and Santa Clauses.
The festive atmosphere was quite strong.
The street was bustling with people, each with their own company.

Freya looked at the lively scene in front of her and suddenly felt like she couldn’t move forward.
Isabella particularly loved Christmas.
In the past, she would always decorate the Christmas tree with her at home every year.
They would also go out shopping on Christmas Day, experiencing the strong Christmas atmosphere on the streets with others.
But ever since Matteo took her abroad, she had not celebrated Christmas with her again.
No, she should say she had completely stopped celebrating Christmas.
Although she had tried to let go.
But after all, she had carried and personally raised her daughter for so many years.
Now, walking through the bustling streets, surrounded by everything, the memories from the past kept flooding into her mind, disturbing her peace.
“Miss Miller?”
Freya turned around.
It was Jimmy.
She nodded politely, “Mr. Hall.”
“What are you doing here alone?” Jimmy asked.
Freya suppressed the emotions in her eyes and smiled, “Just came out to buy some green plants for home.”
Jimmy approached, noticing her standing alone amidst the crowd, her figure and expression lonely, as though carrying some unresolved sorrow.
He didn’t know Freya well and had no idea what could have made her feel so sad.
He asked, “Would you like something to drink?”
Freya shook her head, “I’ll just buy something and head home,” then politely asked, “What about you? What brings you here?”
Jimmy replied, “I was having dinner with a friend, but he left early because of something.”
Hearing that she had come here on a whim, Jimmy, not knowing that there would be an event later, said, “There’s a big fireworks show here later, would you like to stay and watch?”
He didn’t mean to invite her out, just informing her of the event.
Freya smiled, “Oh, that explains why there are so many people here.”
Freya and Jimmy were not very familiar, and as she was about to speak, she suddenly froze when she saw three familiar figures in the crowd.
It was Matteo, Raven, and Isabella.
They were heading toward the square.
It seemed they had also come specifically to watch the fireworks.
Jimmy noticed her change in expression and, following her gaze, saw Matteo, Raven, and a little girl.
